I recently replaced my startup disk for my Mac Pro computer with this SSD. It is super quiet---silent actually, quicker when starting up and more responsive when processing as well as more powerful for having more programs open simultaneously. It is tiny and light as a feather, so when you receive it in shipping you might think it's the Emperor's New Clothes of computer hardware. I can assure you, the box is not empty. Enjoy the future when you buy one of these!

I purchased the solid state hard drive to replace the original hard drive that came with my laptop. That drive was beginning to fail and had also been infected with a virus/phishing/malware that I could not eliminate. The SSD was easy to install and I had my computer ready for the recovery process in very little time.

The free migration software, NTI Echo, did not work properly for me. Could not boot the new drive after cloning. Tried multiple times, tried formating before cloning, etc, etc,. Could not find any good info on why this failed. Ended up using Seagate's DiscWizard to do the clone - fortunately I had a spare Seagate drive to connect so that I could use DiscWizard. Clone went fine then. Boot up and shutdown are faster, hoping that battery life will get a little boost as well.
