Thankfully, Best Buy allowed the return. Then, I purchased this one and 2 days after the store return date I began having trouble with keys on the keyboard, slow start up and freezing on occasion. Frankly, I will not buy Toshiba again.Ill stick with Dell. Buy the insurance if you buy the computer. I am going to have to go directly through Toshiba to resolve this and I imagine its going to be difficult and inconvenient.

Since the laptop was initially working fine, I recommend doing a Windows Reset to restore the laptop to its factory settings to see if that eliminates the symptoms you're experiencing. If the laptop works fine after performing the Windows Reset that indicates that there hardware itself isn't defective. Be sure you've got a full backup first since the Windows Reset removes any files added after the laptop left the factory.
The Toshiba Forums community knowledge base article at toshiba.com/t5/System-Recovery-and-Recovery/How-To-Understanding-System-Restore-Refresh-Reset-and-Recovery/ta-p/342690 has more details and step-by-step instructions for the Windows Reset process.
After completing the Windows Reset, make sure that Windows Update is configured to install only "Important" updates (not "Optional" updates), since optional updates can disable features by overwriting drivers & utilities that are optimized for or by Toshiba. Such optional updates should be installed only via the Toshiba Service Station app or by visiting support.toshiba.com.
If the Windows Reset doesn't resolve the issues please contact Toshiba support at 800-457-7777 for further help.
