My HP was on it's way out and my wife had another Toshiba that worked well. The first day it was crashing and rebooting. Read online and found some possible fixes but it didn't help. Took it back to Best Buy after a week or so. They convinced me to go home and perform all updates and that would correct it. Of course it didn't but by the time I was able to return to Best Buy, it was too late to get my money back or exchane it. We let my daughter take the other laptop for school when I purchased this new one, thinking we no longer needed 2. To this day the computer will occasionally crash even though I continually update it and purchased a good security program because the pre-installed MacAfee is garbage. We don't use it for much beyond email and watching the occasional video. All personal uses, no gaming or professional use that could stress it beyond it's capabilities. Or so I thought. I tried visiting the Toshiba website and browsing the forums, but I think it's just a piece of junk with no way to be fixed. I will never buy another Toshiba product again.

Bought a reconditioned laptop and it didn't work, took it back and was given advice that it's not the best buy.

These were terrible. They would freeze immediately the first time. Returned both to store

I purchased this laptop as previous HP laptop died suddenly. My daughter had a Toshiba previously & she was very happy with it. This thing is the worst ! Never again

Good entry level laptop. Price is nice, performance is satisfactory. Basic everyday tasks, no problem. Too much multitasking, not so much. Hard drive space is great at this price point.

Bought Toshiba Satellite about 4 months ago. Horrendous product. Every other day on phone with Geek Squad with same dozen problems over and over. Stalling, slow (upgraded internet serv.), keyboard jamming, would not scroll, stop script errors continually and had to restart. great difficulty accessing and logging into email. Days I could not retrieve it. (Comcast checked out OK) Computer problems. 4 hrs. to place an online order for 3 items. Too many additional problems to list. Buying an HP next. Soon. Please do not buy Toshiba!! Save yourself ONE BIG headache!!

Bought this computer two and a half months ; the truth is... it has been problem after problem , initially failed a lot and did not identify the wireless local networks. Updates have always been another problem to some extent is achieved tolerate. This morning I sleep it and now take hours trying to start it , turn on the keyboard but after the first screen turns off and goes black , does nothing . I am very disappointed with this product , I came to this page because I 'm looking how to make my warranty valid .

This was he worst laptop i ever owned. Since i had it, it freezes, very slow, not user friendly, etc,,,, Called several times to Bestbuy Geeksquad about my issues, but now i am feedup and going to bring back to the store.
