Already dealt with three bsod. slow processing, quiet speakers, cheap feel. I know I'm a hard typer but I really feel like I'm going to chip the keys at any moment. Then again, I'm getting what I paid for and I needed a replacement laptop IMMEDIATELY. So its my own fault. As for 8.1, the comp immediately needed to install 67 updates. Was I allowed to pick and choose which of these cancerous updates was allowed to install? No. The system informed me of a restart, and that's what I did that night. Furthermore, the system reinstalls the driver, so if you get the bsod and CANNOT figure out why, uninstall the driver in safe mode, and reinstall it. Worked for me this time. Change the settings to ask you what you update, then painstakingly scour the internet for which ones are safe and which aren't, because Microsoft has set us out to sea alone with this one. The computer itself may not even be that bad, aside from the cheap feel and quiet speakers, but it simply won't run properly with this OS.

sleek thin and lighter weight then my previous laptop. Battery seems to last long enough. Skype worked fine. Bundle with case, cleaner and software made the deal.

I like the computer except for the fact it is terrible for internet use. If you go to a website that has colors, pictures, or words you will spend at least half of your time waiting on a frozen computer screen. It is very frustrating. I bought it for use in writing and it will work for that, but do not expect to surf the web.

This laptop has been great for the simplicity of Microsoft Office and regular use of Internet for school work. This is a great laptop for a college student.

Laptop was packaged very well when shipped. Very easy to follow set up instructions when first turned on. Easy use of understanding microsoft windows 8.1.

Couldn't as for a better laptop for the price. Best Buy had a great deal on it for 215! Works great. Fast!

It is not Christmas yet but I am sure it will be a good computer for him.

Purchased this for my daughter she loves it. Has many features found in a more expensive computer. Price was awesome. High marks all around.

This is good entry level PC if you do not want to spend a lot of money.

AMD is the best. It is a fast machine and a great size. Don't play games but use it to research and shopp online and store pics.

This laptop is by far the beat. The speed is fast and it serves the purpose of what i needed it for. I would recomend this laptop!

I totally love it!! I have had several laptops before but I think that I will be coming back to Toshiba for many years to come.

All four of my grandchildren ranging in age from 11 to 17 are able to use this lap top and are very happy with them.

I intended to buy a medium priced AMD laptop and found this at an affordable price with great combination of TOSHIBA.

Nice keyboard and efficient operating system. Was able to keep my settings from my old computer due to Microsoft.

This was a disappointing purchase. This is an incredibly slow laptop and we don't use it for more than browsing the internet (shopping) and email. Nothing that would cause such slow response times.
