The reliability was where I needed it to be and it is light weight and very portable. I have not used it out of the house yet but if I did, it would be with no worrying.

Decent laptop for day-to-day tasks, at a hard to beat price.

I bought this as a simple laptop for an intern to use and it has proven to be worth the buy. It actually was able to handle some of the more heavier accounting programs we use. I recommend it for a good starter laptop with some room to grow.

For the most part this is a good laptop for basic needs (Microsoft Office, internet, etc); however, the internet seems to run remarkably slower on this machine than any other device we have in our house. IE almost didn't work at all and since downloading Firefox, it's better but still not great. Toshiba support recommended restarting our router at home and we haven't had a chance to do that yet but we'll see if it helps.

My Mom needed a simple laptop. She only needs it for Skype and playing her games, not so much for going online. This computer is perfect for what she needs. Relatively fast, decent amount of memory, lightweight. It's portable for when she wants to take it with her and nice and small for staying at home.

This Toshiba laptop is a good basic laptop for the price.

I ordered my laptop online after reading reviews that it was a decent one for the price. Also, it was on sale for some holiday, which was even better. I ordered for pick up so I could get it before they sold out, and it was available within hours. David S. helped me with everything and was awesome! :D

Great computer for the money, for any new computer user.

After getting to know where everything on my laptop is, it's pretty easy to use & very fast.

I am a senior citizen who uses my computer daily to check email, Facebook, keep in touch with family and friends, shop online, read articles of interest and play games to keep my brain active. I love my new laptop and find it meets my needs easily. It is light-weight, easy to use and was a great buy.

My friend has this laptop and her touch pad is a little weird. I just assumed it was just her laptop. Bought this one for my dad and it has the same problem. The touch/mouse pad need improvement. I wouldn't recommend to a friend because the mouse/touch is one of the most important part of a laptop. That's the main problem with this laptop.
