I searched the different vendors on line and found this one on BBY.com and it was for a great price and my father loves it. It came with anti-virus and the sales staff were great.

Although brand new, it boots a little slower than I hoped for, and the wifi tends to drop out unexpectly requiring a reconnect. I had GeekSquad originally set it up, and although they did a nice job, I am not as excited about the functionality as we had hoped for with regard to this laptop. But it is doing the job, and I am reasonably pleased considering the price.

No On The 8.1

Set up was quick and easy. Takes a little getting use to since my last laptop was purchased 6 years ago. I think this computer is an excellent buy and a great value for the money

Runs very slow

Posted .Thank you for the review, Frokeydokey, and sorry to hear that you ran into a touchpad problem with your Satellite C55.
The touchpad can be toggled "On" and "Off" by using the "F5" function key, so if F5 is inadvertently pressed it will disable the touchpad, potentially giving the impression that it isn't working. If the problem occurs again, try pressing the F5 key to see if that restores the touchpad function.
If you have any other problems please contact Toshiba support at 800-457-7777 for troubleshooting help.

Good Laptop

I originally bought it for 249.99 then went back online the next night and saw it for 199.99 for a 2-day sale and so I went back to the store and got a $50 refund! So I would say it's a good price. Plus it has nice crisp screen quality.

Even though many of the fast songs could have been better, I would still recommend these albums. I think that the songs that were singles, the ballads, and the interludes stood out on all three albums. If you love 90's r&b music, you should definitely have these albums in your CD collection.

I use my computer to look at most of my college materials, take quizes, write paper, and do other office tasks. This computer has worked great for that, and I have enjoyed using it for streaming and light games. It is a basic computer, so don't expect to do intensive gaming on it, but if you need it for school stuff, it is a great computer for its price.
