You get what you pay for. The mouse touchpad sucks, keeps hanging from time to time and is very irritating for everyday use.

It's not a very fancy laptop, but it definitely gets the job done. It's very reliable and a good investment for the time being.

I've been buying Toshiba laptop over the years for personal used and as gifts to students. I have not heard any negative feedback as far as its performance, except the Window 8 OS that causes problems to users which should not be blame Toshiba Manufacturer of the unit. The software OS from MS is not at par which could impact Toshiba's reputations as good company.

Like I said its my first laptop. But I like the big screen. And for the price - you can't go wrong.

My first toshiba so it is a little different than an HP but it was under $250 and the speed is fine. The one issue that I would mention is the sound which is really weak. Not bad as a backup laptop or a basic one.

this is very good laptop within this budget, Performance is good. I m satisfied with this laptop.

The unit is quiet and easy to set up bought for my 84 yr. old mother who got a little confused with the remote . out of the box it doesn't blow really cold air but it did catch up and seems to be performing ok now

I bought this as a gift for my daughter's 13th birthday. It must be good enough because I never see her anymore. Lol! In all reality it has what she needs. It's a good size monitor, not unbelievably slow, and it has a dvd drive so she can use it to watch movies. I'd recommend it to anyone needing an inexpensive data entry, web browsing, movie watching box.

I have been disappointed in the performance. The computer works OK but I thought it would be faster than is is. I had a Toshiba M55-s1001 that I liked a lot better.

affordable, fast, great deal especially for the internet only user

Works just fine for the minimal amount of work I need to do, surf the net, email, and use my basic vinyl cutting program.

I did not have a hard time setting up this product or connecting it to my internet, printer, and T.V. I like the camera on it and the apps that were included - even had trial version of Microsoft suite. I am very happy with my purchase.

do not really like the windows 10. is not compatible with my current AOL account and now have to wait till AOL updates their version to comply with windows10.

Purchased as an extra and to take with on vacations, great so far and the price was perfect.

bought this laptop for a cheap computer with a cd-rom drive to use and not worry about breaking.. works well easy.. i like that i can use to watch dvds
