This computer is good for the simple things, it has power and is durable. It is great as a secondary computer or to use as a Windows-only-program PC for Mac computer owners.

So far I have not had any serious problems. I have noticed that my mouse pad does not scroll. I like the Bluetooth capability.

Purchased this laptop to replace my 2011 laptop. Same brand just a newer model. This laptop runs at the same speed of my old one. Complete waste of my $$. I only hope that I can return it without any issues since I've kept it long enough to try it on many different internet servers to rule out my internet being the problem. I hope to spend more $$ on a more quality product. Keep in my that you get what you pay for.

Needed this quickly for a conference to support a projector. Worked great. got the job done.

This was a good gift for my twelve year old who uses it to look up facts for school assignments and she plays a few games. So far it has done what it was intended to do.

This is a fun computer for surfing the web. It doesn't have as much memory as some pricier computers, but is reliable, quick to respond and easy to navigate.

Great laptop for its price range. Powerful enough for business use

This model of Toshiba's excellent laptop line is a great deal, it has plenty of processing power and hard drive space, runs Photoshop well and its built-in web cam is a plus!

Great for what i need it for. Just upgraded my wifes computer and it came with a free copy of windows 10 as well. Its boots quick programs load fast, its veey user friendly.

The laptop is a decent entry level laptop, but don't expect too much from it. The Celeron processor has never been known for blazing performance. Works great for browsing the web and doing some online multimedia applications, however beyond that I cannot recommend it. For about a hundred more I swapped out and got a touchscreen laptop instead with the i3 processor which made quite the difference. Toshiba as a brand though was built well and should serve its purpose if this is at your price point.

great price for what you get, good display, good speed for ms office software, email etc.

So far so good *knock on wood*. Obviously this isn't a gaming computer, but for getting on the internet, facebook, picture, skyping, etc. it works decent enough. It has a built in camera as most laptops do, and most importantly has a rom drive on it. Make sure you plan to create a backup media before using it! I used a thumb drive for this, so hopefully if I do have a software problem, it will let me flash it back to the original state.

I purchased this laptop in May because my old Sony Vaio wasn't powerful enough for my online classes. With my new Toshiba I have no computer issues and I can continue my education worry free.

Does EVERYTHING you need for an average computer user and then some! This is the fourth Toshiba I have purchased! My first one lasted six years, this one has lasted six PLUS! Got my daughter's two years ago when she started college and now got this one for my wife! HIGHLY recommend Toshiba!!

high school student really needed a new computer and since she was paying for it this was a great choice. many options and features that are great for personal use.

Perfect for basis computer needs. Great web access. Nothing fancy, if you want to add apps easy to do so. Windows 8.1 is more easily used than windows 8.0
