Great Entry Level Laptop

It suits my needs very well for my music composition software, photo editing, and general office and internet work. I love how light this is, the display looks great, and the keyboard has a nice and easy feel to it.

So I only opened the box took it out turned it on and made sure I could connect wirelessly and surfed the net quickly. I think this will be suitable for what she needs it for. Hopefully this will be money well spent. Since the electronic return policy is a little tough at Best Buy.

If you will be using this as a web surfer or email , and some light photo editing this isn't that bad at all. Just wished it was faster than my win95 machine back in the day...

As you suggest, the Intel Celeron processor and 4GB configuration are suitable for basic consumer applications like email and web surfing. If you have more demanding applications then moving up the performance ladder to one of our Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 -powered models is likely to provide a more satisfying experience.

I could've just saved my money and kept the other. It takes a very long time for objects to open whether it's a document or an internet page. It seems to need a warm up time to get going.
