While on Facebook thou the laptop seems very slow, it's always locking up. But, I tend to wonder if it's because of all the different changes on the page at one time and if it's not the laptop problem but Facebook just having to many different things changing at one time?

The trackpad randomly sticks and freezes the computer. The brightness control has two settings: Las Vegas light show and empty black void of nothingness. Don't plan on doing anything more intensive than surfing Facebook with it. In short, 2/10. Would not recommend.

Google Chrome is a disaster with this computer. I'm not impressed with the performance.

It cant run multiple programs in background or screens at once. it just cant. If I could do it over, I would of bought a 2 in one, with a bigger processor and memory etc.

This model is equipped with an Intel Celeron N2840 Processor and 4GB of RAM which, although it is an entry level processor, should be capable of handling typical day-to-day consumer computing needs.
I wonder how long you've had the unit because if Windows Update has been busy downloading & installing updates (as is typically the case on brand new systems) it will tax initial performance until that updating process is completed. You may want to run the Windows Update app to see what it's up to, if anything. If it has critical updates to install, I recommend having it complete that process ASAP and reboot when it's finished (even if not required) to see if performance has improved once that process is completed. We don't recommend letting Windows Update install any "optional" updates since those can overwrite drivers & utilities that are optimized for or by Toshiba. Optional updates should be installed only via the Toshiba Service Station app or by visiting support.toshiba.com.
