I bought this for my 65 year old dad. I knew going in for the price, I cannot expect a superior product, and expected very little. I was surprised when within one month the mouse pointer froze, freezing the laptop along with it, and also the internet connectivity was super intermittent. Returned it after a month and got store credit.

I understand that you already returned the laptop, but for the benefit of others reading this review who might have landed here from a web search relating to this symptom, the F5 function key can be used to toggle the touchpad OFF & ON. If the touchpad seems to have stopped working it's very possibly due to an inadvertent tap on this key. In such cases, it's easily corrected by tapping F5 again.
