The perceived speed & responsiveness of any PC will depend somewhat on the number of programs and processes currently running on the unit at any point in time, and their respective demands on various components, subsystems, and networking resources. Restarting the laptop and then checking performance after loading each individual app is one way to determine when the resource load begins to impact performance, and which apps most impact performance.
Regarding sound quality, you may want to make adjustments to the sound enhancement feature by following these instructions:
1. Open "Control Panel"
2. Select "Hardware and Sound"
3. Select "Realtek HD Audio Manager"
4. Select "Speakers"
5. Select "DTS"
6. Select "Launch"
If the above steps don't resolve the issues, I recommend performing a Windows Reset to restore the laptop to its factory settings. Be sure to first back up all critical data since performing a Windows Reset will remove all programs & data added after the factory software installation.
