We bought this laptop for a replacement of my husbands old toshiba satellite laptop , we went with this because he had never had any issues with his old one. This one is terrible non stop issues since we bought it wish we had returned it!!! Never buying a Toshiba again !!!

We're disappointed in this laptop. We chose it for the storage capacity & the disc drive (for watching movies) but had hoped for something a little more nimble. This is slow a and lumbering machine - hence the nickname Godzilla.

For some reason does not stay connected to wifi. We have desktop that works fine with wifi.

I originally purchased this laptop computer at 679.99. I went back the next week to purchase a second one for my girlfriend at 729.99 in the hopes I would pay the same amount. My thoughts? Go get it! Great machine for the price it has a skylake core i5 with a great graphics card and can handle every game I have thrown at it. Love the touch screen and sturdy build! Stick with other brands. This thing is slow, constantly running other program in the background. I would definitely not recommend this.

The software was not loaded correctly at the manufacturer.

I bought this computer because of the price. Other computers with similar specs cost $900 and up. My old games worked well with this computer; i am happy with the computer so far. I am sorry the people who gave the computer a bad review had problems; i have my computer on a laptop cooler perhaps that is helping my situation.

I've had my precious Gateway laptop since 2007. It was finally time to upgrade. I'm not a computer expert and spent years looking around. I finally settle on this Toshiba and so far, I am happy as can be with it. Very simple to use. It's fast and has a touch-screen for when you can't, or simply don't want to use the mouse. Another great feature is you can turn the mouse pad off, thus eliminating those annoying times as you're typing and accidentally clicking with your thumbs. The screen is big and super sharp, displaying deep, rich colors for casual use or watching movies. It does not turn into a tablet, which is fine. I prefer having the CD/DVD player/burner instead. The battery lasts a long time, right around 7-ish hours give or take what you're doing. Great computer for a really good price.

This computer is a winner, I obviously made some modifications like adding RAM and Changing the HDD out to a solid state drive and it is super fast. I Can not complain.
