I purchased this for less than the current advertised price; I wouldn't pay more than I did. It's not a bad machine, but has no killer features, either. The display is ordinary. I wish I'd shopped for a laptop without a touch screen, I'll never use it. The keyboard is decent, and the touchpad is a good size, not oversized like some laptops, and has a nice touch. Not unique to this laptop, but annoying nonetheless, is no docking connector on the bottom. I bought the separate port replicator and it's a complete pain.

Decent specs but bloatware is unacceptable. Loads of it. Also, a 5400rpm hard drive and it's 2016? And manufacturers are dumbfounded why pc sales continue to drop? A decent sized ssd can be found for $100. Why Toshiba? Why? Lose the internal cd/dvd drive. for the 25 people out there still using one, you can find a nice external one for $25. Throw in a decent sized ssd. Keep the $650 price point. Lose the bloatware. YOU WOULD KILL IT. Sales thru the roof. Your welcome. Until then, I'll stick with my chromebook and Mac running bootcamp.

This is a good computer for the price. Two things are that the corners/edges are sharp and that the power cord easily comes out.

I bought one and it had a bad hard drive--died within 2 weeks so fortunately I was able to replace it. Exchanged for a brand new one and my son used it for 3 hours before it black screened and tried unsuccessfully to auto repair. Will not be exchanging for a new Toshiba at all.

I bought this laptop yesterday because the price was good and it was advertised as a gaming laptop. Specs all seem to be good, I went to load a brand new copy of Flight Simulator FSX. It wont load, It wont even start to load before telling me there is an error. It's two days old. How can there possibly be a problem? I'm not completely helpless, I'm pretty knowledgeable when it comes to computers. Thought this would be a hassle free experience. Wrong.

My daughter wanted a Toshiba laptop again and this laptop has all that needs to do her master program. Great speakers also, great photo program.

Great computer for students. Works like it supposed to and is very fast. No complains so far.

Laptops don't last very long and it was time to replace the old one. This is touchscreen, which I didn't really care about, but now that I have it I don't like it. Any time I accidentally touch the screen it moves what's on it. And the fingerprints are annoying. Also, this is a biggie for me, so I'm going to mention it. I lay my arm down at an angle while the laptop is sitting on my lap and the corners are SHARP. I have to put a blanket or shirt underneath my arm, but I still have indentations on my arm. I'm seriously considering getting a Mac next time because of this computer, and I've only ever had PCs. I'm giving it 2 stars because it does function, it's just not friendly.
