Good Low-End Convertible

This computer is very effective in this sense. Just enough computer to do the job I needed, which I this case is searching online, checking emails, and checking Facebook on occasion.

Slow laptop

If that doesn't resolve the trouble you're experiencing with the touchpad then I recommend that tou update or reinstall (if no updates are available) the touchpad driver. Visit http://support.toshiba.com/support/modelHome?freeText=1200010890 and click the "Drivers and Updates" tab for a list of software available for you model, then filter that list using "Windows 10" and "Touchpad" to see the relevant drivers and utilities.

The speed is rather slow compared to some other similar units. The battery life seem to be limited to about six hours. We were hoping for longer operation between charges for airplane flights.

And toshiba fixed it after a runaround of getting through to them. I got it back quickly but it had a new problem so I had to send it to them again. Shortly after they fixed it broke for good. I had it for 8 months not worth the money I paid.

Small & light laptop but poor battery life

After a full charge the laptop can function on about 4-5 hours of battery life, but it feels like 2 hours as the battery dies very quickly. Another downside is that along with the poor battery life comes constant charging, and the laptop does get quite heated on my lap. Despite the battery life and heating problems I love the laptop. It's very fast and the touch screen is very responsive. I usually use the laptop mode but I also like using the tablet mode. The laptop itself is very light and it's perfect if you're looking for a laptop that is easy to travel with.
