I have tried two other computers and this one seems to have everything that I was looking for. It's sturdy (I just travel from Florida with it). It runs great and is very easy to use. So far so good for me.

My goal was to use the laptop to collect data and monitor a port mirror with wireshark, plus video editing. PDF files caused the video drivers to crash. I could live with this, and I do know that this is a windows 10 issue, so I wasn't bother by that. I didn't keep the laptop long enough to bother fixing this issue. The WIFI connection continuously disconnected. I had a horrible time trying to keep it working on AC or bgn connection. It kept disconnecting and had to be manually reconnected. Continuous ping showed packet loss. Complete junk for the wireless. I have 8 other laptops, this is the only one with the issue.

I understand that you already returned your unit, but just want to point out that if Windows was displaying a "limited" or "no connectivity" message or indicating "no Internet access" even though you know that your Wi-Fi router was connected to the Internet, there's a fix for that which is normally installed automatically by Windows Update. Microsoft's support article at support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3114149 explains details about the symptom, cause, and how to implement the solution.
Toshiba also has a Support Bulletin at www.support.toshiba.com/sscontent?contentId=4008443 with detailed instructions on how to manually implement the solution.

It is not enough that I started having software problems from the moment I opened the laptop (initial windows set up had to run couple of times because of errors it was encountering), but the screen adapter started not responding and restarting frequently after couple of touch screen uses.

I understand that you already returned the unit but, for future reference, I recommend running a Windows Refresh or Reset to resolve any potential Windows corruption issues, which will often eliminate problems. A display driver restarting unexpectedly typically is a bug in the driver itself, which is typically resolved by a driver update.
