    This is my first Toshiba Computer and I love it. It does a lot for the price. I love that it converts to tablet mode, Cortana is a feature it has and she really helps( making it too easy to access your files on the lazy mode).I would recommend to first time users. The size 14in. works perfect for my needs. I would not choose anything else!

      I wonder if Windows Update was busy downloading & installing updates. That's typically the case with brand new systems, and it can tax initial performance significantly until the updating process is completed.

    Purchased this product on October 6, 2015 and now it doesn't turn on. The AC adapter has the green light, so I know that's working, but the laptop is completely unresponsive. Toshiba customer care wants me to go purchase a new AC adapter to see if that's the problem in order to go further through troubleshooting. I bought the laptop for my aunt who only uses it for youtube to learn different DIY crafts. This laptop has never left her crafting room. Everyone warned me about Windows 10, and I should have listened. Now I'm going through a refurb process for a laptop less than 60 days old. If you're going to get this then I would highly recommend the geek squad protection. Luckily, I got the 1-year and I know geek squad will be better to work with than Toshiba is.

      Thank you for the review, Horrible, and sorry to hear that you had some sort of trouble turning on your Satellite E45DW-C4210.

      It's very surprising that some suggested that you purchase a new AC adapter since that should, of course, be covered by the warranty. I recommend visiting Toshiba's online Troubleshooting Assistant at support.toshiba.com/support/troubleshootSelfService?PRDTYPE=COMPUTERS to determine whether or not the AC adapter is defective. If so, you'll be able to order a warranty replacement at the end of that automated troubleshooting process.
