Screen resolution is not the best out there, but knew what I was buying with specs. Runs All Office 2016 products with ease. It does have some weight to use as a tablet, but works fine on your lap. I would recommend this system for the price.

HD 14" touchscreen, Core I3 processor, 6Gb Ram, 500Gb HD, USB 3.0 and WiFi AC. It looks great, screen rotates 360 deg and offers enough performance for MS Office tasks. I definitely recommend this product.

It has a beautiful display, cover is cool looking, however, it could not connect with wifi if it was taken more than 15 feet from the router. I returned it, got a chrome book which was much cheaper and it connects to wifi perfectly.

I understand that you already returned the unit and replaced it with a Chromebook (hopefully a Toshiba model!), but I want to point out that if Windows was displaying a "limited" or "no connectivity" message or indicating "no Internet access" even though you know that your Wi-Fi router is connected to the Internet, there's a fix for that which is normally installed automatically by Windows Update.
Microsoft's support article at support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3114149 explains details about the symptom, cause, and how to implement the solution.
Toshiba also has a Support Bulletin at www.support.toshiba.com/sscontent?contentId=4008443 with detailed instructions on how to manually implement the solution.
Finally, I also want to point out that Toshiba support at 800-457-7777 can assist with troubleshooting and diagnosis, and resolves most issues over the phone.
