Is a good computer, but needs some display improvement. I can't open my picture files, which is extremely weird....

So far I'm happy with this ; I've only used it as a laptop so far but it's picture is excellent. I can stream hockey games and it's very clear on the computer screen as well as the tv it streams to. I have not spent much time on it yet so haven't played w/all it's features but so far so good.

I am enjoying getting to know all the features. This is my first laptop so there are new habits to make. The buttons are a good size and easy to operate. The screen size is perfect for these, getting older, eyes. I like being able to carry my compter around, not only to another room, but with me on the go.

The Toshiba Satellite 2-in-1 tablet/laptop is a decent buy for the cost. Please note, this is a discontinued model which accounts for the reduced price tag ($700). The quality of the display is excellent; movies and videos look sharp and clear on playback. The quality of the onboard Harmon Kardon speakers is above average when considering the form factor. While this is a very large device to use as a tablet (15.6" screen), it works very well in both modes. I actually found it to work better in the touch mode, rather than as a laptop. The reason; the native touchpad is a bit overly sensitive for my tastes. I would recommend installing a external USB or bluetooth mouse and reducing your potential frustration. The touchpad is my only real nitpick with this device. Also, because of the form factor (it is a tablet after all), there is no DVD/CD drive. You'll have to invest in an inexpensive external USB DVD/CD reader if you really need it. If you don't mind this being a discontinued model (i5 Core processor family), it's well worth the purchase.

First laptop's cooling fan made continuous noise not long after turning it on and had to be exchanged for another the next day. So far the second one has not had any issues. But will reserve final judgement/recommendation after using for several weeks.

I bought this computer on August 2, since then nothing but problems. Fist of all, computer is very slow to respond. Second, this computer has wifi drop issue. I called the Toshiba customer service, told me to download wireless software driver...ARE YOU FUN**** KIDDING ME! New computer needs to update software driver. After installing latest driver, same issue. Last, Toshiba customer service told me I am lucky? because they normally charge for software issue. Thinking of selling this junk.

We were looking to replace a broken laptop. We went to the store and saw several of them and this is just what we needed! It had the 10 key pad, big screen, all the perks of a laptop and a tablet and it even has a light-up keyboard. We were sold! Absolutely amazing and it runs great!

Loud speakers - Quality of speakers are superior for a laptop; weight is heavy so the tablet is hardly used

I brought this laptop for my son as he headed off to college. The set up was easy, including adding the external disk drive hardware. This is the seciond Toshiba he has owned. The first is being passed to his younger sister and has had no issues. Hope the same applies to this one.

It is ok. only issues so far is the touch pad is too sensitive and tried to calibrate it but did not help. You can easily delete email if not careful of where the cursor is. Touch screen is not sensitive enough does not respond like iPad screen would. There are better models out there.

Good laptop, has some minor glitches that will probably be fixed in an update but overall good laptop.

The only issue with it is the sticky touch-pad. This could likely be fixed by using an external mouse.

All the appropriate bells and whistles and easy to set up and use

After much research on availability and utility of current laptops after My Sony Viao broke, I needed a replacement. This lightweigt unit with reported 7hr battery life was my choice. I love it. Greattouch screen, Harmen Kardon speakers and many ports. it's 4 way configuration makes a very flexible for viewing movies etc. Very happy with my choice.

A great laptop for any student to use for everyday. It's not ideal for gaming but it's great for doing homework, browsing the web, and listening to music. Plus it can be used as a tablet!

My first one has lasted over 8 years. It's still in working condition, but it was time for a new one.

Computer is easy to use and has a lot of helpful guidance writhing programs. Love the tablet mode.

I bought this the day Win10 was released and it worked great out f the box. Set up took minimal time.

Less expensive then I thought, nice picture. Only used it a couple of times but I like it so far.
