Awesome phone for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid smart-phone for the money. The quad-core processor is very fast and snappy, the touchscreen is very responsive, and surprisingly, the speakers sound plain awesome; better than a lot of smartphones out. The camera is decent quality and will take fine pictures with enough light. The phone has a flash so you can use that if you need, and you can also download a flashlight application. The biggest negative on this phone is that it doesn't have a physical home button, instead, the home, back, and menu buttons are all on screen. I found that weird as I have owned LG phones before, and they have all had the physical home button with the back and menu buttons off screen. The drawback is that when you are surfing and if you are zoomed in and scrolling from left to right, the little space where those buttons are on screen make the viewing area little smaller. Battery life seems decent and the phone has a good quality, maybe a little on the thicker side. Overall, this phone is a solid mid-range smart phone with a fast and snappy processor that has great speakers; can definitely hold its own against the big guys, and for the price, it really is the best value around. The Verizon prepaid service has also been fantastic with great LTE service. I actually was originally going to buy the Galaxy S3, but that particular pre-paid phone only has 3g for Verizon prepaid, and I definitely wanted a phone capable of 4g LTE. The prepaid plan is $45 per month and you get unlimited talk/text and 500 mb of data; if you use autopay, you get an additional 500 mb of data for a total of 1gb. If you need more data, you can buy 3gb for $20 and it will be available for 90 days, so all in all, an unbeatable deal. If your looking for a solid smart phone, get this, you won't be dissapointed. Just wanted to add that I've read the LG Transpyre is basically the LG F60, just with a different name. I was hesitant to buy the phone due to the lack of reviews, but after doing some research on the F60, it appears that it is the same phone, just with a different company.

Ok phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phone does what other smart phones do but is not as user friendly as other brands. I would recommend this for a child/teens first phone due to the inexpensive price but still being a smart phone.

LG Transpyre vrs HTC Desire 526
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I put a review up on the HTC Desire 526 that only gave an average review in comparison of the older model MotoG. After a month it really showed the MotoG was still the better phone. App stability showed to be poor and bloatware was heavy. The extra ram showed limited benefits. I had two games that were choppy and Kingsoft Spreadsheets loaded and saved very slow. Another issue was answering a phone call, it would delay 2-3 seconds before I can talk. The question is if it was the newer O/S Lollipop and the HTC extras or the 0.1ghz difference of the processor is uncertain. Not that I expect iPhone or Samsung S6 from a budget phone but at least perform as well as the previous phone and it really missed the mark. The LG Transpyre was very comparable to the MotoG. It does lack a light notification reminder but it has an audio reminder setting in the “Messaging” app. Also there isn’t an auto brightness sensor but changing the brightness level on the preset 62% usually covers most light situations and there is a quick brightness slide in the notification screen. The phone is little bit wider so the aspect ratio of the screen is slightly different and the sharpness is comparable. Software is a bit more stripped down, there is no comparable “Assist” app such as hands free, sound profile setting and lost phone finder like the MotoG but there is always an app for that. Facebook and a calculator isn’t even preinstalled. That would explain why the LG has almost an extra gigabyte of storage available for the user in comparison to the HTC. I can confirm that it isn’t Android Lollipop O/S that was the issue with HTC because the LG run really well with 5.1.1. Because of using Lollipop I can utilize the MicroSD slot better. Even when it was running Kitkat the LG has a really nice functional notification lock screen and I can double tap to turn on the screen. Visual effects doesn’t seem to sacrifice performance and it adds a nice touch. It isn’t a Motorola, it’s a LG so there will be differences. I think they are both good brands and it is worth considering the LG brand. Overall it is a good phone.

Nice Phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really enjoying my LG Transpyre, does all I need it to, I did need to add a memory card though for extra storage. Pretty decent camera, nice features, nice screen size. Pretty fast, and yes fast enough. Very satisfied!

Cheap, Dependable, Great phone!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cheaper at bestbuy at the time of this reveiw than amazon, the transpyre is a great phone. I currently have a few social media apps: facebook, instagram, snapchat, kik, messanger, and ifunny, like 40 songs and I still have 1 GB left (out of 8). Its fast, the screen feels smooth like an iphone, this is an excellent phone.

Nice Smart Phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great smartphone for someone that has never owned one. Easy to use and large enough to be able to see a website when looked up. Takes nice pictures and has excellent reception. I get reception in places I could not with my old LG. I would definately recommend this phone. My only disappointment is that I could not buy a case to fit the phone.

Decent Phone with bad camera and bad screen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this phone for a month now. I needed something that had mobile access and was 4G LTE and Verizon's great map coverage. The mobile access and the $ 20 add on plan for 3 gigs of data for 90 days is great. This was the main selling point for me going with this phone. It shows that it has a removable battery but I have not been able to find replacement batteries anywhere yet on the internet? Processor speed is the same as my old MotoG which is good for this price point. The phone is snappy and the microSD card is great for more apps, the phone charges incredibly fast. The downside is the screen which is probably fine if this is your first smart phone and haven't used a better screen phone. The camera is just pitiful. Overall if you are looking for a phone to also use for video and pictures I would definately recommend looking elsewhere. Overall build quality is OK, Verizon talk quality is by far the best I have used of any other brand.

THE INK OF THE WORDS IS TOO LIGHT .HARD TO READ
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great solid phone, but the keyboard is too narrow and the ink/print are too light. I prefer darker print. Also the dial pad of the numbers are too narrow to dial numbers. Pictures quality is so so.Not as bright and colorful as Moto E. The phone is too heavy for a small phone. It says screen size is 4'5, Actually it feels like only 4'3
