I was trying to buy the TRAC FONE version of this phone. Since they did not have that they sent me a Total Wireless one instead which I could not use, having many many TRACFONE minutes. I did not even open the box.

No matter what you do on this phone ads keep popping up and it takes a while to clear them before you can use the phone. I'd say it's next to worthless.

I was told by the salesperson this phone had prepaid minutes on it. That isn’t the case.

Invalid SIM Card

Before I bought this phone I called Best Buy to confirm that there was, indeed, a sim card in the phone. I was told, "yes, there is a sim card in the phone." And, since the description is "Prepaid - Black (Verizon)", I assumed that the sim card in the phone was for Verizon. But when I tried to activate the p[hone with a Verizon perpaid plan, I was told that the sim card was not valid. I have now spent over three hours with Verizon trying to get a valid sim card and get the phone activated. What a pain!
