It sounds like there might be a conflict between the built-in card and the USB adapter. Try disabling the built-in adapter and if that does not help please reach out to support at 866-225-8139 or support.usa@tp-link.com

Posted .The adapter will work on Windows systems running Windows 10 or 11. If your OS is not Windows 10/11 then the adapter will not work on the device. If it is Windows 10/11 and its not working please contact TP-Link support support.usa@tp-link.com for assistance
