A very much needed upgrade for WiFi in my new home.

Bought for family member, the mesh improved WiFi coverage.

Wasn't as easy to connect the first one but after finally connection it works great

Bought this to replace a single higher end router. Expected that a lower end 3 piece Mesh would be better than my higher end single router. this actually turned out to be worse for my small home with basement and 2nd floor.

I have had this item for about 5 months and a few months in I noticed my internet speeds going all over the place. With speeds of 230 to 30 Mbps across the mesh network, it was clear the meshing was not working properly. I checked with my ISP to make sure that was not the problem and they said it was a router problem. I even checked mesh speeds via ethernet to each deco and it was in the 30s-50s (when I pay for 200). Clearly there is a router issue. I was on the live-chat function with TP-Link for over an hour with lots of tests and no solutions, only to be routed to 3 people. I am going to buy another mesh network from another brand and it will not be this one. I am very disappointed with the customer service and being disconnected and moved around. Would rate 0/5 stars if possible.

Only 2 of the device's work out of the 3 will not connect with camera door bell at all

Although the system is acceptable (in some areas of my house), the customer service is not. I have a problem where the computer in my office is getting average speeds of 2.0-3.5MBPS, and although I have spent HOURS over DAYS trying everything from their website, chat, email and forums, it is not something simple evidently. Problem is that when you call the number you get somebody with very little experience speaking English, and after 10 minutes of spelling out your email address over and over, all they want to do is email you a predetermined set of directions, all of which I have already tried. Instead of having someone stay on the phone with you until your issue is resolved, they try to get you off the phone asap and then the issue drags out while waiting for replies back and forth via email. This system is going back for sure because I cannot get any decent help working the kinks out. Unfortunate when they skimp on the customer service which is critical in some cases.

250mbps is all you can expect from these. It is incredibly frustrating since I pay for 750 from my ISP. I also had to pay for my ISP to come out and test all ports and signal strengths. The only result was that these do not put out more that ~250mbps on WiFi. I bought this with hopes it would perform better than my previous router, but all I did was waste a lot of time and money.

The main one is working fine but the other 2 aren't working at all. Not sure what's wrong.

We would always disconnect when we would get to the other side of the house. After installing we never drop wifi. Very easy install and work great for the price.

Installed as app asked could not get anything to sync. Reinstalled and moved mesh around and nothing. Finally got to work and all WiFi items wanted to go in just one mesh. Other two did not do anything. I only had up to 15 items all in one mesh causing different item to loose internet. Went back to old system and all back to normal. I wanted internet in my garage in which I got with mesh but at the cost of everything else messing up. Returned.

TP- Link leads you to believe it's a snap to make a connection. I tried for three days using every way possible to make a wifi connection to xfinity modem and gave up and returned units. Bought a wifi booster for $29 and my problem was solved

Wifi keeps droping and i have to consistently reset the mesh system to get it back. Sometimes once a day. DO NOT BUY

Did not work with my system. Followed directions 2 or 3 times. Returned item.

We have a 2 story 2,500 square foot house and found some dead spots throughout the home. Between virtual school and work from home, it was critical we had sufficient connectivity. We expected the extension of coverage everywhere in our house, now we even have full bars in our yard. But we were shocked by the substantial speed increase, more than 5x faster for both upload and download speeds. Highly recommended!!

The units were easy to set up. The range is excellent. My TV stop buffering immediately.

WE WERE PAYING FOR 5G SERVICE AND OUR INTERNET WAS UNSTABLE. AFTER RESEARCHING THE ISSUE WE REALIZED MODEM WAS OUTDATED BY 3 YEARS AND TOO SMALL. WE ARE SO HAPPY WITH THE PURCHASE. MY OLD DELL (6 YEARS) THAT I WAS READAY TO KICK TO THE CURB EVEN CAME BACK TO LIFE AND IS RUNNING. LOL. VERY PLEASED WITH PRODUCT AND VALUE. IT WAS ALSO VERY EASY TO SET UP.

I used to separate my devices to different wifi extenders , i have total of 20 at home (smart switches, outlets, cellphones, computers, security cameras, etc) Because my wifi always drops and i had to Constantly reboot the extenders each time. All connections would also drop when i have people come over and play games online or watch on their cellphones. After installing the netgear mesh, i never had that problem anymore. No slowness of my wifi or wired devices either. Sometimes people are only sitting on one spot of my house which i think would only use one of the netgear device. And never experienced any slowness or drop. This device fixed my network connections!!! Thank you netgear!!! I highly recommend this product to anyone. But please make sure you are following the procedures correctly. The app will also show you the status of each of the netgear devices that are connected to your mesh. I have them all wired and connected to a switch because i have ethernet connections around my house.

This was recommended by my son and very happy with its performance! We have 3 working living areas that are now able to log into our internet system.
