Once I set up the kit, connectivity spread like invisible wiring. We are so grateful that we made this purchase.

The WiFi deco works great as well, I have had it for a couple years but has never had an issue with it.

But had the chance to use the TPLink M9 a few years ago and this time, wanted a better router for all the new devices, got the TPLink X60 and have no regrets. Got the router at a discounted price too! Installaltion was very easy. Just download the app and it does everything for you. I’m not very technical on other things the router does, I just need good range and good internet delivery, and the X60 does deliver! Live in an almost 5000 sq/ft single story house and I get coverage at every corner of the lot. Never had issues with disconnecting etc.

Connection degraded with PS5 over time.

I have 3 different ps5s and all of them have the same issue now but don’t have it when connected directly to the modem. The pucks are all within 20 feet of my main ps5 and I’ve even switched to using only 1 puck to make sure the device isn’t bouncing connections. I’ve updated the firmware further, updated my modem, updated the ps5 and completed plenty of troubleshooting. Looking on reddit this seems to be a somewhat common issue. My last mesh system lasted 4 years before I replaced it with this setup and while I appreciate the UI of the app, it’s a bummer to already be looking for a new mesh system.

Posted .So, a few things to recommend for this. 1. Set device and band preference for the PS5s. Set them to 5GHz and whichever node is the closest to that particular PS5. 2. Set your Deco DNSs to public DNSs like OpenDNS's 1.1.1.1 or Google's 8.8.8.8. Lastly 3. Set the PS5's MTU setting to 1472. This is because you want your PS5s to be slightly lower than the max most ISPs use, which is 1500. Do these 3 things, and you are likely to have better performance on your PS5s. You can also contact support at 866-225-8139 if you have any questions or concerns.

Coupled with a new WIFI router bought at the same time, my network became much faster very quickly. These were easy to configure, but you do need to take the time to firmware update them and know what you're doing especially in a complex network like mine. For many home users, you can use this without an additional router. For me, I had to replace a router too. We're now able to pull down the max the ISP will allow, be it wired or wireless.

I even purchased a X60, which I hardwired, to extend the range into my garden. Great easy to use interface. The only gripe is that the web based interface is lacking features vs the mobile up. I would much prefer to manage the app from a browser than the mobile app. Bigger screen ;)
