Easiest setup of a mesh system ever. I switched from Netgear to TP-Link and I am happy with the range and speed. I’ve got some WiFi 7 devices and they’re fine but this works great with my WiFi 6 devices also. No complaints at all.

Great Wifi Coverage For Large Homes

This mesh Wi-Fi system has definitely improved my Wi-Fi coverage around the house. When I first moved into my home, I was experiencing very weak/little Wi-Fi signals as I went into my kitchen and bedrooms with my router/modem I had at the time. I tried using wifi extenders to improve the wifi signals since they are relatively cheap but I didn't observe any changes. So my kids and I had poor connection with the Wi-Fi resulting in lagging while gaming or streaming. Lagging is now a thing in the past since this purchase. I even have signal when I'm outside in the front yard.

The TP-LINK Deco BE5000 is a great mesh setup that offer dual-band connectivity for 2.4 and 5 GHz. It might be a draw back that there's no 6 GHz band for a WiFi 7 Product. Each mesh has two 2.5 Gbps port for backhauling and/or running hardwired connects directly. The TP-Link mesh offers fast roaming which is nice for modern devices to connect smoothly and quickly. I have my TP-Link mesh configured with AT&T 1 Gig Fiber and their BGW320-505 Router Model and setup was super simple by setting up the deco mesh and switching to access points.

Quick, efficient, easy to understand set up. It directs step by step instructions on the app that you download. It had features to separate the 2,4 and 5G function. The internet you use on everyday devices like laptops, phones, tablets, never lose internet as you leave song the house from room to room because the system is intuitive enough to move your line of connection to the nearest hub. Easy to connect to current modem or even a current router for even more lines of connection. I have my set up counted through my current router because i had already put security measures on it, but this device allows anyone to set up exuding with several different options available that it will suggest to you.

I recently upgraded to the TP-Link Deco BE3600 WiFi 7 system, and the difference is huge. The coverage is strong, stable, and fast throughout my entire home. Dead zones I used to have in the kitchen, backyard, and bedroom completely disappeared. Setup was extremely easy — the Deco app walks you through every step, and it only took a few minutes to get everything connected. The network has been very reliable, even with multiple devices streaming, gaming, and working at the same time. Since it’s wifi 7 the speed it so much better than the older devices i had!

I have one of those home with dozens of things requiring Wi-Fi- doorbells, security cameras, even my vacuum cleaner! Additionally, there are gaming systems, phones, cooking appliances and computers. My system is STRESSED! On top of all the connected devices, I have an in-law type setup downstairs where my daughter lives. She always complains about the Wi-Fi connection down there. She has ignored my many suggestions that she get her OWN Wi-Fi down there but why pay when Mom is covering the expense? The set up is not terribly complicated- You must shut down your router (make sure no one is playing a game or doing homework online before you do!!). I waited until no one was home just to be sure. The only unit that needs set up is the one you connect directly to your router. After that, you just plug in the other units around the house and they find the main hub! The picture shows the speed- 1.1Mbps which is not fabulous. It's enough to get online but does not improve my streaming. Overall, this did not provide the difference in streaming and online activity that I had hoped. I guess there are no miracle cures for a stressed Wi-Fi network

      Hi CTMom,

Thank you for your review. Our Deco Mesh Wi-Fi systems are designed to provide robust, seamless Mesh Wi-Fi for your whole home. In your case, we first recommend that you make sure your Deco app and firmware are both fully up to date and your Deco units are optimally positioned within your home and in proximity to each other.

We would also recommend testing the Internet speed at the source by connecting a computer to the main Deco directly via Ethernet and running a speed test. If the symptom persists, we'd suggest contacting your Internet provider and having them perform a line test to ensure you are receiving the full connection and service that you are paying for.

Our support team is always happy to help answer any questions about our products. Please feel free to reach out using any of the resources included with the product or from our official website, and we'll gladly have a Support Agent follow up with you directly.

      Thank you,
      TP-Link Support tplink

Decent, and good value for the price. However, the only setup options are in the cell phone based app-- there's no web browser GUI or way to dig into the settings on a computer. I find this pretty frustrating-- I want detailed control over these devices, and the app on your phone does not provide that.

Solid, but not perfect. Theses technically support WiFi 7, but a real WiFi 7 router would be tri-band. That being said, they work well for what they are.

I've only used it for about one night. I didn't even know this existed. Was browsing through my local Best Buy store and stumbled upon it. Speeds will drastically improve on devices that support WiFi 7. As far as ones that don't, coverage should improve on those as well but only time will tell. I do like that these have TWO multi gig ports as opposed to only one. Huge pro. Other than that. Not that different than WiFi 6e mesh.
