The experience is very similar between the two. Setup is simple and the app is great. If you can get these on sale less than the equivalent Eeros I would absolutely recommend them!

I no longer have issues with my wifi connections. The 3 pack is a great problem solver. The app on my phone allows me to manage my wifi devices as well as check the system.

Once I figure out how to get my printer connected it will be perfect. We previously had a regular router and were having issues with the walls and reception in our apt. Since we have switched there have been no connection issues and have great service.

First, the setup for these devices is less than ideal, requiring you to use an app to connect and configure them. The process should be straight forward, plug in the device, download the app, use it to connect and configure, however; the app doesn't always connect. It's quite intermittent and really frustrating. Next, after months of use, the devices began going offline randomly. Some devices are connected using Ethernet, and are accessible for external access. When the satellite devices begin flashing red, these devices are inaccessible. I've tried following TP Link's support guidance, with little progress. I've rebooted the network multiple times, only to have devices not reconnect to the main device. Reboot the network again, same thing happens. Recently I wanted to get a static IP from my provider and configured the network as such. With the newly confirmed IP, subnet and gateway, the devices all fail to come online. I tried resetting the devices back to default and now the app never connects to them. There are far better options, even if for a little more money. I would suggest buying anything else but these. I have since reverted to an old setup that's running almost as good, though i will be looking into something better.

Thank you for the review. Most Mesh systems are based around a app for installation, configuration, and management. Very few actually offer a Web UI. Mesh systems were designed around a simplistic, always available, management model based on an App interface. Setup is generally that easy but depending on the ISP and how their equipment is configured setup may be more involved. The app disconnecting may actually be due to your device not detecting internet service on the Wi-Fi and switching to cellular service. In situations like this disable cellular service for internet until the device is configured and online. For issues linked to a static configuration and intermittent connection we would strongly suggest reaching out to support for assistance. You can call 866-225-8139 24 hours a day. Support is free so please feel free to use it to help stabilize your device's connection
