I set it up which was easy but it did not boost my signal it reduced it. Before installing I ran a bunch of speed tests and wanted it to be a little stronger for the basement. I tried the TP link that you plug into the outlet and it runs through the wires in your home and that was much worse than wifi. That should have been my first clue about TP link but I thought this was a Google product. It is not! So I tried this and it was better than the first one I tried but still slower than the Comcast one I get with my package. I called Google support because if you've ever tried TP link you will never call back there again. I was continually told about the app that goes with google home. So basically you are paying 200 bucks for the convenience of a phone app. It doesn't boost signal strength and unless you buy the pucks that go with this to extend the range then it is worthless. It in itself does NOT boost the range any better than the one the cable company gives for free. Not worth it for 25 dollars.

Disappointed

Don't think it was the fault of the router itself and the customer service was excellent and they did everything they could to help to no avail. Will maybe try again after it has been out for awhile and firmware is updated.
