So, I paid for the monthly "cloud" plan and I'm very disappointment with that. For some reason, it only shows activity for the last 3 hours. Other cameras I could go back days in recording history. I would not buy this again. I wish I could return it.

Kasa cameras do not work with SIM cards, If you were looking to do local storage you would need to purchase a MicroSD card. For cloud storage it is not 24/7 it will only record when motion or AI detection activates the camera. You will be able to review these recorded detections for 30 days. It could be that all that is being shown if the activity that has triggered the detection. Try increasing the detection sensitivity and see if that provides you with more recordings.

One of the many great features offered by our Kasa Smart 2K HD Indoor Camera is its digital zoom option, which can be toggled via industry standard pinch-to-zoom gestures within the Kasa app. Please note that digital zoom quality and resolution will depend on how well lit the monitored location is.
