I researched budget cams and the is was a great value and I liked that you could record to SD within the device without a sync module or the cloud.

TP-Link Kasa Spot and Pan & Tilt indoor Camera

They have good quality video during the day and night. Since they are not outdoor devices I placed them indoor looking out to the driveway without using the infrared lighting and they are very good in low light. In daylight they have good color and at night even in black & white they produce a good video quality.
