Just what I was looking for. I needed an outdoor plug that I could setup a schedule, timer or control from my phone. Using the KASA App, I like how I can setup a schedule based on day, week, etc. I haven't had a problem with the plug at all.

I've been bringing my 1973 house into the "smart home" era, and after some nosing around, I ultimately landed on the TP-Link Kasa ecosystem. My experience with their products has been great, so when Christmas came around, rather than jack around with independent plug-in timers and switches, I knew Kasa had to have an outdoor-rated product that I could use for my lights. Enter the Kasa KP400 twin outdoor receptacle. Though one physical unit, you can control and set timers for each of the two receptacles independently of one another. I had absolutely no problem setting up or using the device, and it was really nice to be able to delegate to Kasa the job of turning my lights on "at Sundown" and off at 1:00 AM each day. In my case, had Kasa made a single-receptacle version of the same device, I probably would have purchased that, as I really didn't have a use for the second outlet, in reality. It's nice to have it, though, and perhaps if I go completely bat-crap crazy with Christmas lights some year, I'll have the opportunity to make full use of it. As it is, though, it works perfectly, and when I purchased it, literally no one had a better price for it than Best Buy. Hands down.

Great wifi enabled plug, used it for Christmas decorations this year and worked like a dream. The app is easy to use and set up and then you can forget you even have it. Holds up well to all sorts of weather to from the Texas sun to the random snow we got this winter. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a solid smart plug.

I have a couple of these that I use for various outdoor needs. Christmas lights, cafe style string lights, a heater for my aviary. They are all connected with Alexa, so I can conveniently switch these things on or off with my voice, in addition to setting up schedules to do this automatically. This is especially helpful with Christmas lights, because I used to use mechanical timers that were only good for a few seasons, and need the time reset after power outages. Now all that is handled from my smartphone! I am using each of the two outlets for different functions, each with their own schedule and Alexa name, very handy and for less cost that buying two of the single outdoor smartplugs. I especially like TP-Link smart plugs and switches. No hubs (unlike some other smart plugs), good app, standard WiFi instead of lesser used wireless protocols, and reliable.

Used these primarily for lighting our outdoor Christmas lights. At this point better than a conventional timer. Same price for more options. Really nice to be able to set the times you want your lights to turn on/off and to not have to go outside to turn the lights on. Kasa App is also one of the easiest smart home apps to use.

Works great! It's an outdoor rated smart plug. Never had any issues with it. You can control the plugs separately if you'd like. My favorite feature is that with the kasa app you can schedule it to turn on/off at sunset - perfect for having patio string lights turn on automatically!

Added to my other Kasa products and replace my mechanical outdoor holiday lights timer. The nice thing with a smart timer is if the power goes out, the Kasa smart plug starts back up with the correct time. My old mechanical timers had to be manually reset if the power went out for any length of time.

KASA makes great products that easily connect with Google Home. Love this outdoor plug, that we have 3 of them. Well, one is an older model. Allows use of the outdoor lights on a schedule or via Google Home. Can't say enough how great it is.

TP-Link devices are the most reliable products that are based on quality and affordability. I hve iwed several other TP-link smart devices and this outdoor plug have lived up to its company’s reputation. I use it to remotely control my greenhouses grow lights and heater. So far so good

I have been adding Kasa plugs for all my indoor christmas lightning. This is an another addition for my external christmas lightning. very high quality product. so easy to setup using kasa app and i can control using google home. I got it at a great price!.

THIS brand of Smart Outdoor Plug is sent from the heavens! Works perfectly. I purchased 2 for my sister after she told me she was going outside to turn her Christmas lights off EVERY NIGHT! I initially purchased another brand from Amazon b/c it was a quick delivery. Even though the instructions said it was compatible with Alexa it definitely was not. After 2 hours (from a very tech savvy person) of trying to get the plug synced with her Alexa she gave up! Twice!! I told her to box it up so that I can send it back, and we she found this on Bestbuy. It took a while to arrive being the holiday and all, but well worth the wait. Now instead of going outside her home at night, in the cold, she can set her timer to turn on at dusk and off at dawn instead of the usual 6 hours on 18 off timers. I will be purchasing 2 more but for myself!!

Great product, I use it for outdoor. Very smooth good range able to connect from long distance for Wi-Fi control. Even in rain I see performance is good. With 2 outlet I see it as good price range product.

This has been awesome. My light switch was really uncomfortable to deal with in my bedroom. As far as reaching for it with this item from my bed I can just say turn off the lights awesome.

Really easy to connect with app. Also it works seamlessly with Alexa. My favorite is that you can control each plug separately. Definitely worth it

It works as expected. My outdoor plug is on the opposite side of the house from my front and back doors. I had a plug that came with a remote that I’d click for my holiday decorations to turn off and on but the range wasn’t great and I had to constantly go to the side of the house to get in the range. I was slightly worried about a similar problem because my WiFi router is on the opposite side of the house but it has been no issue. The whole Alexa smart home system is so convenient. Forgot to turn off the lights and already in bed? I don’t even have to open my eyes! Want to turn on the decorations for the evening but not home yet? Easy peasy. The two plugs can be labeled and controlled separately and/or together and with other “groups” of smart devices. Great upgrade!

My favorite part about this plug is that TP-Link has its own app because I have not committed to any particular smart home platform yet. I have their indoor plugs and a few light bulbs and have always been pleased with their products.

These smart outdoor plugs made the holidays a breeze to turn on and off the lights. Setup was easy by just downloading the Casa app and pairing these with the google home app made it easy to control using google assistant commands. If you want to automate your outdoor lighting, these were reliable and easy to setup. Also, if you want to hard turn on/off the lights, there is a little button at the top that lights up so you know which plug you are turning on/off. If you want to control your outdoor decorations with your phone or via Alexa this is the product you want. Yes each of the two plugs can be controlled separately. Unlike other products you can control each outlet as if it was a separate plug. You can setup routines to automatically turn the power on and off based on your particular needs. Why would you want to control them separately? You can put lights on one plug and an inflatable on another. I have purchased 3 of these and they work perfectly as long as they are within wifi range.

I think this is a little bulkier than it needs to be but it is made of good stuff!
