Needed to make turning on/off lights and blow up decorations outside of the house more efficient without the need to walk around every night. This definitely did the trick. You can set schedules for each outlet and control the power from just your phone with the app. Need to buy more for relatives!

I've been using this smart plug for about a year now and I am really happy with it. I have been using it outdoors, and it has been working flawlessly. It's really easy to set up. You just download the Kasa app to your phone and create/login to your account. Then just follow the easy prompts, and in minutes your are set up and running. You can also take the extra step to connect it to google/alexa/cortana, which I definitely recommend. I have been using mine with Google, and the functionality has been working perfectly for me. I'll also point out that each plug can be controlled separately. I have two different sets of outdoor lights, and I can turn either one on, or both. It's really nice to have this kind of flexibility. Overall I am just really happy with this plug. It was the first TP-Link - Kasa product that I bought, and I was so impressed that I decided all the smart light/power products in my home with be Kasa products.

Works great, easy to set up. Using to control my Christmas lights, and so much better than trying to use mechanical timers, turn them on myself, or the light sensors I was using before. To be perfect, it would have been nice if the plug was a flat one, with a slightly longer cord, as it's pretty short and tough to manage to secure flatly against the side of the house once you hook it up. Would be nice if the water covers for the plugs were attached to the unit and independent rather than a single piece of rubber, as not great when you only use one half of the unit and expect the other half to stay covered (I used a tamper-resistant safety plug instead so it stays in). Overall, I'd definitely buy again (I own 2), as it's almost perfect.

It does the job and easy to control in the app and price point is good

I use this inside for my fish tank light and heater. It was easy to setup a schedule for it. The only downside is you can only turn on the plugs when you're connected to your wifi.

Got this plug to automate the lighting schedules for my bearded dragon. I've had absolutely no issues for ~8 months now. Incredibly easy to use and setup, you can't go wrong for the price. Fun sidenote: If you set your schedule, it will program into the plug. This is great if you're worried about your WiFi/internet going down.

When the need arose for a second outdoor smart plug, I had no reservations about purchasing another of the same product I already owned. The first one we purchased has held up well over the past three years, and it still works and looks as good as it did when we first bought it. The setup of this product is easy and the kasa app is pretty straightforward.

These paired easy with Alexa and made our holidays so easy to control all the lighting outside. Set it up on timers and never had one issue. We had 3 of these and each of them had both outlets with extension cords lighting up our entire front yard and house. We even won an award for our holiday display! Cant wait to use for other holidays and in our backyard in the summer.

I love being able to control the Christmas lights with an app and setting an automatic schedule instead of manually having to control and program my plug like I used to have to do for years before this technology came around. Best part: The Kasa plug has been 100% reliable.

Purchased this to control my outdoor Christmas lights and my inflatable Christmas decorations. This is an outstanding outdoor plug. Alexa and Google support it and it is fairly easy to set-up and use with full functionality (timer, schedule, voice command, and or manual control through either the Alexa or Kasa App.
