You can set a timer and not worry about cutting lights off at night. I also use them for my plants. They turn my grow lights on at dawn and cute them if at dusk. I have been using them for years!

Great inexpensive controllable outlets.

(Only do this if the device will be completely enclosed and protected from water inside the outlet box)

Handy for converting regular lights to "Smart"

I like that they have a manual switch on the sides as well as smart device uses. This particular model also is rated up to 1800W, more that many similar plugs. Works well so far.

Great for indoor holiday lighting, as well as everyday lighting that you would like to operate with your Alexa or program a schedule.
