Easy setup, connected to WiFi on turning on. Showed up in app effortlessly

I love this plug! I have my light plugged into it. Makes it so easy to turn the light off/on. I have it hooked up to my echo, and can either turn it on/off with the app, or by telling to alexa. It makes it real nice when your first walking into the room, or laying down, and don't want to get up. The only thing, is that when the internet goes out, your plug won't work.

Very easy to set up. Alexa compatible. It was on sale and the price is great.

The TPLink plugs are a great solution. They are easy to setup, and integrate with most home automation suites. The Kasa app also allows to create easy timers and schedules.

Easy to setup with Alexa and the size is perfect, it doesn't block the second outlet.

I got this at a great value and it works great to connect with Google Home for my nightstand and living room lamps. Eventually I'll be more of these for other rooms in the house. It would be nice if it integrated with Google out of the box without the need for a Casa app but that was just a minor inconvenience.

I have bought this device for my wife's iron which she always forgets to unplugg, so I found the solution for that. I place this device on the iron cord with the glue.....now if we left the house for the long trip and she forgot it again, then I can turn it off electricity from my iPhone))) She is really happy about this opportunity

This tp link wifi outlet is so much better than the wemo WiFi outlet by belkin. Tp link stays connected on the WiFi and unlike the wemo constantly keeps getting disconnected.

Have owned and used two for about a year now. I like the overall quality. It is simple to setup and to operate. You can turn it off and on using the app, or via the button on the side of the device. The app also gives more options as far as scheduling, but I could only figure out how to schedule a power on, and not a power off time, closest I could figure was setting a power off after so many minutes of power on, but that option only goes from 1 to 180 minutes, so IMO the only thing I wish this could do better is the software.

I initially purchased this the TP-Link to turn lights on and off at set times. Once I got it, I realized it could be used as a crime deterrent by making it seem someone is at home when I’m away, but After having problems with my internet based home security going offline, I realized it was a great way to reset my cameras by killing power to the router to turn it off and back on to reboot the system.

Unit is easy to install works every time was in stock at BB picked up the same day.

I highly recommend this. I use it with my Google hum smart display, Google Assistant and it works perfectly. I walk in the room and tell Google to turn the bedroom lamp on and the room lights up. I tell Google to turn the lamp off and it goes off. Perfect. Life will never be the same, I walked into the future of Demolition Man.

Just kidding. I had everything but the plugs so now I can set up my smart home. I like giving orders to things that will do my bidding. As a mother, it is a dream come true.

This was bundled with an echo purchase, and both together were cheap. Ended up using it for lights on a Christmas tree and was easy to turn off/on with an app on my phone or just telling Alexa to "turn on family room Christmas tree". Easy to setup and works great. Now that Christmas is over, put it on a table lamp in our family room and changed the name on the app so I can use a different title when commanding Alexa.
