This thing may not look like much, but it is extremely useful and very easy to use. The Kasa app couldn’t have been built better. I love that you don’t need a hub. I plugged it in and added it to my network in less than five minutes with zero issues since then.

This has been absolutely amazing at controlling my Christmas tree, so happy to have gotten it!

I have multiple smart plugs and switches from Tp-Link. I like the fact that they have put in efforts to create a good app to control the switches rather than just relying on the Alexa app.

We have a fish tank with a light in our bedroom that I forget to manually walk over and click the switch off as I'm going to bed. This outlet is nice to set a schedule and around bedtime it shuts itself off. Easy to use, and pretty customizable for what I need.

Had a little difficultly setting it up but once I got through that the plug works as intended.

This plug was very easy to install. It worked perfectly both on local and remote settings until Oreo was installed on my phone. Now it only works consistently on remote. When the connection is set to local only, the communication between my phone and the plug intermittently fails. TP-Link worked with me but was unable to correct the problem. Since most people probably use the remote connection setting, there should be no issue.

It was a deal if you were purchasing the echo so why not. It’s my first jump into a smart home and it’s fun to play around with. Can I turn on the lights manually, absolutely. Is it fun to name my lamps funny names and turn them on and off verbally? Heck yeah!!

Love this little plug. Now I can get my candle burner started remotely on the way home from the office. By the time I get in, I’m greeted by my favorite fresh fragrance. This is significant and helps avoid wasting candles/money. I may need to get more of those.

Using some of these TP link smart switches around the house for various devices. Seem to be working great for the price. Were easy to get all connected and working properly, set and forget type of thing.. will buy more.

It works like mint, and I purchased a bundle of them and set up all the gadgets around the house with TP-link connectors. I can control from anywhere using the app, and the app works incredibly.

These are awesome. I use them to turn the Christmas lights on and off in our windows. "OK Google - turn on the window lights". Integrates well with Google Home. SUPER easy to set up.

Stay tuned but looking forward to using it. plan in hooking plugs up to lighting in the house

Excellent device, gave me complete remote control of in-house Christmas lights and other electrical items. Also rebooting my linksys below units , placed throughout the house and become a lot easier William Martin

These things are awesome - I keep buying more. Christmas lights go on at sunset then go off at a later time. My coffee maker automatically shuts off 2 hours after turned on. App is easy to use to control everything.

These are plugs work great! Easy set up and now I can use Alexa to turn on/off my devices

We use it with amazon echo turning the lights to different color and very much more Love it

I have it plugged into my AC outlet in my shed. I have a small AC unit plugged in it. When im Away i can turn on my AC on the last setting it was on from anywhere so long i have a cell signal. Its fast, easy and convenient.

Cool too have especially if you’re coming home late u can control your lights from your phone

Never purchased a smart plug and the Kasa unit worked great. I have it plugged in at a 2nd home and I use the Wifi App to control a heater. Very easy to set-up and use. Overall, I would definately recommend purchasing

If you have something that you need to be turned on and off by voice command, this is a good product to link up to the Alexa. I have 3 of these around the house and I have programmed my Alexa to turn them on by certain word commands.
