I use these with lamps and scent diffusers as well as the Christmas tree - I just say turn tree on and there it is. Just as easy to use the app and I’m greeted with pleasant scents or lights when I get home!

Only use it once a year but it's so much easier to tell Alexa to turn on the tree than to reach around for the light cable and plug it in. First world problems...I know...it's just easier.

These smart plugs are great! Saves you the headache of running back home if you forget to turn something off. I will be getting many more!

These little plugs are so easy to set up and customize. I have three of them. Living room, bedroom, and fish tank light. Auto timer is nice to come home with light on. Ready to sleep Alexa turn off the light :)

This smart outlet is fantastic! I used it for our Christmas tree and it was fun. I would just tell Google to turn off/on our Christmas lights and it made it easy. I now have it plugged into a lamp.

I bought 3 of the smart plug for my Christmas tree and other lights. The setup was a breeze. Once setup, it's super easy to operate. You can rename the outlets to your liking too.

I have been wary due to false advertising of products that say one thing and never perform according to specs. This smart plug connected nicely and works exactly as stated. I also love how they FINALLY fixed the issue of previous plugs where plugging this one in doesn't block the other outlet! Nice!

This is a handy product. It worked great used with the Christmas tree this season. The ease of turning on and off the lights versus crawling under the tree to reach the plug in each time makes it well worth it.

This plug in is great. Easy to setup with your phone so you can program on and off items. I have not tried to setup a schedule. I use it for the same time on and off everyday. I plan on buying more.

It worked great. I had to download the TP app and create an account but that took a few minutes. The TP app integrated well with Google Home and now my wife can turn the downstairs light on at night!

I have a lot of smart plugs in my house. I recently saw Tp link in best buy and decided to try that brand. It was easy to set up and program even for a person that is not real savvy with technology

It came in a package with my Echo Dot. Just started using it while on vacation and like how it works with my Ring and Alexa systems. A simple product with multiple applications.

This is a very nifty device for controlling Christmas tree lights, plug-in room lamps, etc. It was very easy to set up with the Kasa app, and the app interface is well designed and easy to use. The app allows you to set up a time schedule to turn on/off lights, including the ability to control them based on the time of sunset/sunrise as well, which is nice if you want to have a light turn on when it starts to get dark, for example. Another good feature in the app is the ability to take a picture of your lamp, etc. to represent the device being controlled in the app, instead of using the generic icons that are also available in the app.

Easy setup and works great. It will link to Google Home and can control with Google Assistant and a schedule on the app. App is by manufacturer of plug, download and link to app then Google Home.

This is so much better than the last plugs that came out.. These not taking up space on both outlets, is SO MUCH BETTER than the last ones.... Highly recommend, if this is what you’re looking for

The perfect solution to adding home security or ease of use to an item in your home. We personally love the integration with Google Home and all of our Google speakers and smart displays. Our Kasa Smart plugs are being used in our upstairs and basement living room lighting setups and we couldn't be happier. Being able to say "Hey Google, turn on the basement lights" is far more fun than going to turn each switch on. The Kasa app has a nifty "away" feature that utilizes your lights as part of your home security. I'd highly recommend this product from TP-Link to anyone!

I got 2 of these little devices to replace mechanical timers that we used to control our upstairs lights. We have them connected to our Echo Dots and through the Kasa app on our phones. They work great most of the time but, once in a while, one or the other will randomly lose its connection to the wi-fi. When this happens, I have to unplug it, wait a few seconds, and then plug it back in. I’ve tried relocating them, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. According to the router diagnostics, they’re getting a strong signal from the router. They both do it so, unless I got 2 defective ones, it’s probably a design flaw. It’s annoying, but easy to fix and they’re not controlling any mission-critical devices, so I just live with it.

The Kasa plug is amazing. It does what it needs to do, and set up was easy. I think I had it setup in 3 min, literally. Was also easy to connect with Alexa.
