I purchased this for a trip out of town so we could keep better tabs on our lights coming on and off while gone. This worked excellent and was far more reliable than the old school timers which never seemed to come on/off when you thought you scheduled them. This was super easy to set up from out of the box and working in less than 5mins. The app was also very user friendly. I'd highly recommend this wifi plug!

I come from using other smart plug brands, and over the last few years I've grown increasingly frustrated with connectivity issues, app glitches, and bad user interfaces. I was introduced to the TP-Link/Kasa brand when I purchased a new home, so I decided to give the plug a try. It was beyond easy to set up compared to others. The app is simple and clean, and the integration with Google Home is great. Overall, I'd buy another one of these in a heartbeat!

I hooked this into a pole lamp. Once you download the correct app and get it programmed, which is really easy, you add a skill to Alexa and then can control the lamp or anything else you plug into it via Alexa. Well worth the price.

The TP-Link Kasa WiFi Plug Mini is really easy to set up. Simply download the free app and press add device on the app, then follow their brief directions. It took me less than a minute from unboxing to working. I can now schedule the light that is plugged into it as well as control it on demand. Cheap, easy,. and effective. Doesn't get much better. BTW, it works when you are anywhere that has wifi or cellular service.

This plug was easy to set up with Alexa with the little postcard that was included.There isn’t a hub required, but I still have it set up with the Wink hub. I’ve used other brand plugs, but this brand has been the easiest so far!

I love these I don’t have Alexa nor Google but I do use Siri with my phone and Apple Watch I can set it up to turn on and off with Siri through shortcuts. They are amazing to use with lamps. I have one just about anywhere in the house. I will look into buying more. Doesn’t have Apple HomeKit but through shortcuts they still work with Siri. I like the Kasa app these use if you have Alexa they work much better.

This TP-Link mini smart plug product is consumer friendly, easy to set up and easy to install. Their Smart Switch also easy. Needed a little guidance from their tech support which was readily available to me and most helpful.

I went into the store for a smart plug to connect my Christmas tree lights to Smart things. I wasn't planning on buying this particular plug, but store didn't have the Smartthings plug. I have never bought a TP Link plug before, but once I saw it was compatible with Smartthings, I thought I would try it. I did have to download the Kasa app for set-up, but other that that it has worked exactly as I was hoping for.

I absolutely love my tp-link smart plug. Easy to install and pair with Alexa. Easy use from the phone as well. No complaints at all. It does the job which is to turn on the lamp in my living room. Great part to my smart home.

I never knew how much I would live a switch until I purchased this one. Having the ability to turn things on and off via phone and using Alexa has been the best thing ever! Product is incredible. Would recommend it to anyone!

I'd probably give these plugs between 4 stars and 5 stars, if I could, due to some difficulties in setup and proper functionality I've had at different junctures, but I also can't say with absolute certainty that those issues have been fully on the product's end (plug and/or App) and when they work (which is most of the time), they are great! I look forward to the day when they are even more compact in their design, but they are also not overly hard to work around, based upon their current configuration and my areas of installation. That said, I have largely had great success in using these and, in many respects, wish I had started using them sooner, as I have now used them at multiple locations. The issues I have had concern the App's ability to recognize and setup my device (one instance of which was attributable to my VPN and the other unknown), the devices not always turning on and/or off based upon the schedule I have set up in the App, and some minimal inability to connect to/control the devices, or see a device's status, when on a network other than my home network. I know there are various reasons for each and that each occurrence may not always be attributable to the same thing, but just something I'd advise others to be aware of and prepared for.

These little devices will make your life a whole lot easier. You don't need to be a tech geek to plug it in and set it up to be controlled with your voice device. I have mine linked to turn my TV's on & off. Works great!

The item is solid well built. Fits just right into the socket leaving room for other outlets. Syncs well with smarthome and Alexa.Aso works well with its own application response time is quick when trying to turn on or off

This plug is an easy step toward making your home smart capable, even if you aren't tech savvy. I set it up with the app on my smartphone and integrated it with my Dot in about 5 minutes. Now I can voice control my lights.

This smart plug was on sale on black friday for $5 along with the echo. It's easy to set up and connecting to alexa was simple. Comes in handy when you dont want to physically turn off your lamp/light when heading to bed.

These bulbs are so much fun and pique my nerdy side. I was able to get these on a Black Friday sale so the biggest con about the bulbs was minimized. The bulbs are easy to add to my existing hub, and work flawlessly.

This plug is just amazing it is everything thing I wanted very easy to setup and just as easy to use and if I every for get if it's still on pull out my phone check app no matter where you are and can turn it on or off.

I have several of these smart plugs controlling various lamps. The installation is easy, the footprint doesn't cover the other outlet, and the app is pretty versatile and easy to create on-off schedules as well as turn off remotely. Alex integration works well. Would be nice if was easier to change the Wi-Fi network directly, but if you need to do so, you just "remove" the device and then set-up again on the new network.

This is my first purchase of this type of item, and it has been a great convenience for turning lights on and off in my house when I am away. I don't know how I have been able to get by without this product in the past.

Decent smart plugs for getting started with home automation devices. Initial setup was relatively smooth, but there were a couple of issues where the app got stuck and had to be restarted. Works with other devices like Google Assistant pretty well, but sometimes seems like the connection takes a little bit sometimes - turning the plug on or off via the Google Assistant app sometimes takes a little bit of time to connect, though the Kasa app doesn't seem to have this lag, and also has a few useful features like timers. One of the plugs I received had some minor but concerning black marks underneath the plastic at the end, but otherwise seems fine.
