Setup was quick and easy with the Kasa app. I was able to use the plug while on vacation in another country.

Great plug. Haven’t had any issues with it at all! Small enough that it doesn’t block the second plug on the outlet

This device integrates well with Alexa. There is no integration with Z-Wave or Zigbee.

Good for controlling lights and other small electrical equipment that need to set on timer or been on and off when I’m not near by

same job as other expensive plug - can connect to wi-fi, control through app/cortana/alexa/google, and set up schedule to operate independently.

TP-Link is easy to use and needed to start when having a smart home. It's easy to set up and necessary if you can't install any smart switches.

I love that I can turn on lights when I'm away from home. I live in a rural area so its comforting to come home at night and my home is lit up.

Good product but WiFi will only connect to a 2.4GHz signal and its connectivity is “OK” at best. It loses connection to the router often and I was also limited in where I can use this device (relative to router location). It’s well worth the sale price, particularly if you can keep it in close proximity to the wireless router.

I use this to turn off and on hall light at my moms house. Scheduled with Alexa for the times. Setup was easy and it works great.

These are great if you want to easily add smart functionality or scheduling for an existing outlet. Easy setup through the Kasa app!

Very easy to setup - download the KASA app, it takes a few steps to connect through the app and Bob's your Uncle.

Bought this plug so that we would be able to turn our Christmas tree lights on and off with Alexa. Worked great!

Sounded like it would be easy to set up, which it was using an app on my phone. If i wanted to do something like turn a light on or off, I had to open up the app and turn it off that way. Still easier to just use the switch. Haven't tried setting it up with echo.
