    I used 2 of these in an unheated vacation cottage in Galveston TX to connect space heaters pointed at the water pipes. It was great to be able to schedule bursts of heat and/or to be able to control the outlets as on or off using the app. Unfortunately the power went off for 24 hours and the pipes froze anyway, but for a “normal” cold snap these would be perfect.
