Works great and easy to program would definitely recommend using these plugs when you’re away

Easy to get set up and going, however if you want to customize the settings for what you have plugged into them, you're gonna need to poke around in the app quite a bit.

It is awesome to have these plugs in the house now. Can go on Phone and turn off any outlet.

This device has always worked perfectly. The I my downside is creating an account with TP Link to then link to your Alexa. But just follow the steps. Once that’s done it’s all great!

I have my under cabinet kitchen lights hooked up to these and just ask Alexa to turn them on. Love it!

This plug worked as advertised. Positives: -Excellent value for smart remote control from my phone app (android). - Good wifi receiver worked throughout my house including outside outlets. I went ahead and bought two more after initially testing the first one. -Can change dusk-to-dawn settings automatically through out the year so I will replace the old timer controls that I have to change manually. - Can turn on exterior flood light manually at night e.g. if I hear something outside or dogs are barking, etc. Negatives: - Potential fire hazard- I would not recommend using at the full rating the company claims (15Amps). The penetration of the metal contacts into the female portion of the plug doesn't seem adequate. I plan to use mine for low-current LED lighting but I would be nervous about running the full 15 amps without thoroughly testing for overheating especially from a remote location. - TP-Link has padded/flooded their reviews with over 18,000 and with over 1000 questions/answers on Amazon, I was happy to be able to see real reviews and make my purchase decision at BestBuy.
