    I requested and was sent installation directions for Kasa Smart app from TP-Link Kasa manufacture's www. website. The installation was simple and effortless. The plug is now a device in my Amazon Dot 3rd generation Alexa with clock to use to turn on/off my lamp/light. I am please that the plug devise is working very well.

    hey its a wifi smart plug only downside on these wifi plugs is they only work on the 2.4ghz band and are sometimes a pain to connect to it but once they are connected to your wifi no issues and in the app you can set up tons of them set up schedules and give them names and identifier photos or take your own photo to tie to the plug

    I bought one to check out and it was so easy to set up and use that I went back to Best Buy and bought four more to use with all my lamps in the bedroom, living room and family room. After the easy setup I then had my two Echos in two different areas of my home to hook in and they worked perfectly with my voice commands. You do need Wi-Fi to use with Echo and or smart phones.
