Thank you for your feedback. Smart plugs operate by allowing or preventing the flow of electricity to the connected appliance, much like plugging or unplugging the appliacne from a power outlet. If the appliance in use doesn't automatically turn on when plugged into a power outlet, it may not be the best choice for use with a smart plug.
