I bought this one specifically for my Christmas tree and it is awesome! No more bending over to plug the tree in! I just say, “Alexa, turn on Christmas tree “. It’s so easy to setup and it works like magic!

This is a great addition to our smart plugs. I was a little hesitant because we have Wemo (and now TP-link devices). Alexa makes it easy to pair the two!

This is the first add-on device I have bought for my Google Home. Set up was pretty easy with it’s own app downloaded from the Apple store to my iPhone. The WiFi connected without a problem. Directions aren’t supper clear, but weren’t too difficult to figure out. Getting it to work with Google Home took going to the Help files, but they explained it well. Once working it’s fantastic. I use it simply as a smart timer for my living room lamp. Programming from the app is pretty easy and all info, including WiFi connection is retained even if you move to a different outlet. Voice commands to Google to turn the lamp on or off does not interfere with the programming from the app - on/off times, vacation programming, etc. I will be buying another one for other devices.

This smart plug has a reasonable price nad the features are good, It is easy to configure and can be use directly by the app or with a voice asistent like Alexa or Google asistent. The form factor helps to use more sockets

I started off with Wemo plugs when I first started my Smart Home journey because they were marketed very well. They kept dropping their connections so I tried the TP-Link plugs. They are very stable. I have around 10. This unit (HS103) is the previous generation and came in a two pack. It's rated at 12 amps whereas the newer HS105 plug is rated at 15 amps. I control lights and fans with them, so the wattage difference is irrelevant for me. You can't beat 2 for $18!

I love having the opportunity to have control so remotely. Love these.

I bought this and hooked it up to Alexa, so now I can turn it off and on by voice. I love that. I can also schedule it and it has an away mode which simulates you being home. Kinda pricey, but if you can get it on sale, totally worth it.
