Download the KASA app and these plugs work great as timers or voice controlled with Amazon Alexa. Each plug is given the name of your choice. Then they work individually or as part of a group or multiple groups. For example, I have a light in the kitchen, a light in the family room and a lamp in the center hall under one group. When I come downstairs each morning I say “Alexa turn on morning” and they all go on at once. They can also be operated remotely via the app; turned on and off while you are away. The voice control is wonderful as you never have to enter a dark room again.

Very easy to setup using the Kasa application. If you put them in an area with weak Wi-Fi they will not work.

Quick to set up and great to turn on lights while you are away or turn on your AC before you come home in the summer. I have a couple of them and compact size is great space saver.

I have these installed in my house and it has been working seamlessly. I have them to do timer for my aquarium light and bug zapper. You just can't go wrong with these plugs!

Got this to control some indoor Christmas lights. Works great, easy set up. Linked to my Alexa app with no issues.

Great little device, only takes up one outlet. Easy to setup through TP-Link's kasa app and Google home. Currently controlling a floor lamp that was nowhere near a switched outlet.

I got this bundled with the echo dot and for the price it was a great deal. It does what it is supposed to.

A little on the bulky side, but only takes up the space of one plug. Works great with Amazon Echo/Echo Dot.

Have been impressed with how well these “play nice” with my network...so much that I actually switched out completely to this brand. Maybe I’m the exception, but from my own experience, I would take these over “the competition” every single time...so much more reliable!

Got this to plug the Christmas Tree into for this year and it works great and is easy to connect to Alexa.

These outlets are awesome. It did take a few tries to get them set up and working properly, but that was because I got a little anxious to use them. I set timers for Christmas lights and for some reason one of them was not turning on and off. It took some poking around to figure out that the time zone was way off on the outlet. Once I figured that out, I’ve had zero issues with them. I highly recommend giving them a try, they work great with Alexa!

I have used Wemo switches for a couple years now but have always had issues with them. This TP Link switch is much easier to set up and seems to be more reliable so far.

Purchased a few of these so I could turn on and off holiday decorations using Alexa. They work great and can even be controlled from your phone outside of the house.

This is an amazing and reliable Product. I have 5 of these controlling outdoor and indoor lights. Setup is a breeze. Tp-link/Kasa is a definite winner!

Not sure how I feel about being sent 3 v1 models in and order when they are on v3. The oddity is that you can set offsets to sunrise/sunset in v1 and can’t in v3. So if you want something to happen 10 min before sunrise, you better get a v1 as v3 doesn’t have that option (firmware 1.5.6). I wish you could set schedules on groups of devices, you can’t. Groups are only for turning on or off at the same time manually. Nothing else. I have 5 Wemo switches that I’m giving up on as they dropped off my WiFi and I couldn’t get to rejoin. After spending 90 with support on phone trying everything possible including completely reconfiguring my WiFi network. Tp link was a breeze to set up in comparison. We’ll see how well it fairs over time. We will also see how well tp link does with firmware updates and adding features. For those that care, there is no HomeKit support in these. Just Alexa and Google.
