I like to sleep with the drone sound of a fan at night and I have the fan plugged into this outlet. I control it with my Google Home device. I like to watch TV or read while I'm winding down and when I'm ready to go to sleep, I just give the command, "OK Google, turn on the box fan" and voila, it turns it on so I don't have to get out of bed.

I have a few other so called smart plugs but we have alot of problems with them staying connected!!! I highly recommend this!!

Good Buy

The unit is a bit trying to get set up, but once activated it works great. For $5 it is worth it, but I don't think it would be worth it if the cost were much higher.

With google assist it works pretty smooth. Good price comparison to other sockets as well.
