Simple to setup and works well with Amazon Echo and dot. Able to turn off and on from any room that an echo is set up.

This is truly a smart plug. Very simple to activate, I didn't realize I needed a separate APP to use this but it's very simple to start up. I use it in a room where there is no wall switch for my lamp and I need to stumble through a dark room to turn on the light. Not anymore! Alexa, turn on the lamp I say as I walk into the room and voila, the lamp is on. It's well worth the money. P.S. I just asked Alexa how to spell voila and she came through for me. They're a great team.

I was ambivalent about smart plugs and the like, as I figured that these are pverpriced gadgets for what they are supposed to do. However, I got my TP-Link Smart WiFi mini plug for $5 during Black Friday (purchased with the Echo), and thought that it was worth a try at that price. I was impressed with the ease of setup and use. Now I have a few smart plugs around the house and we love them! They should however, lower the price to make them more affordable to the consumers.

Great product. Easy to setup with the Kasa app and google home. Does not block 2nd outlet. Strong wifi connection.

Most anything you plug in here that has a permanent on switch, or none at all will activate when you tell it to using whichever assistant you may have. So what ever you name the plug, example: if you have a little heater on there, and name the plug "heater". you can say turn on the heater. likewise if you had an old school record player that started when powered on you could totally set the Mood by saying turn on the "groove". I love this little plug it works great :)

Got it for $5 as an add on for an echo. I love it! I don’t think it’s worth the $35 reg price but if you can get it on sale it is great! Easy setup, now I have timers/Alexa control to turn my lights on and off!

These were part of a bundled promo with purchase of Amazon Echos during the holidays. My expectations were low since these were marked down so much, but I figured what the heck. So glad I purchased these. They were very easy to set up. The Kasa app on my iPhone walked me through the steps without a hitch... there are a couple points in the setup where you need to leave the app (if memory serves me right, one to go to your WiFi settings and another to open a browser). Each of the three smart plugs was up and running within a couple minutes. They've been connected to lights and a baby monitor ever since without any glitches. I'm pretty comfortable with technology in general, and I suspect most people would have the same experience. Though my elderly parents could probably use a hand getting these up and running if they had to, but if they were setting up their own, I'd probably do it for them so they're not trying to figure out how to temporarily disconnect their phones from their home wifi to pair with the smart plug and then jump back on their network.

Home automation is very affordable now . This TO link was very easy to set up and for the price you can't beat it

I bought this to replace an old Wemo and it works fine. I wanted a Smart things plug but I think someone else is now selling them under a different company name. The price was good and it works with Google Assistant do I got this one instead.

Love these. Got a couple to turn on sound equipment that is not located in the sound booth at my church. Saves walking to equipment in other rooms and at the opposite end of the Worship center. Easy to set up and simple to use once set up.

Loves these smart plugs and are very easy to setup via the Kasa App. Love that they are compatible with Alexa.

I use these with Alexa. As of now I only use it to turn on and off my lights. But it’s great. I can do it while out of town with the app. Or just tell Alexa to do it while at home. The only bad thing is that if the internet goes out, there’s no way to use it. So you’d have to plug whatever is into it, into a regular outlet. Which is kind of a pain when it’s plugged in behind something that’s hard to move like it is at my place. Other than that, it’s perfect.

Kasa Smart plugs are easy to program with the app. They work great with Amazon Alexa. Voice control with Alexa makes it easy to turn on and off lights without using the app if you prefer. Well worth the price, can't believe I didn't buy them sooner.

I have to say, Tp-Link products have never let me down. This is another example of that trend. while setting up a smart home my only lament was that Tp-link dosen't make 3 way switches or dimmers. Out of all the smart home products i've used none have set up so easily and quickly as my tp-Link switches and mini plugs. Unlike any of my other smarthome products, i've never had to fiddle with them to keep them working. Great experience all the way down.

Works great with my amazon echo and echo dot. Very responsive and great size to utilize the vacant outlet.

Love these smart plugs. I have several of them in my house. The App is great, the plugs are easy to install and sync, and they work seamlessly with Amazon Echo. Have had zero issues. Can't wait to order some of the TP-Link Wall Switches. Highly recommend these over all other smart plugs.

Amazing little plug, responds well. But most important it plays well with Alexa, Google and Smartthings!

I have a few TP-LINK smart outlets, and they always do a great job. The smaller size of this plug, definitely helps in certain areas and it works with Amazon Alexa devices for voice activation.
