Got these on sale for $5. These work great with my Echo Dot.

Works as advertised, and synchronized right up to my system.

This mini-smart-WIFI plug is great for controlling my lamp. Just ask Alexa, "Alexa, turn on lamp" and presto! the lamp in my living room turned on! Configuring the plug was super easy once I had Alexa set up. Fun to automate routine non-smart appliances! One drawback of my purchasing experience was that my phone wouldn't allow me to check-in for curbside delivery so I had to go in the store.

I have had a few Smart Plugs and got this as part of a bundled deal Best Buy was offering. It had a few issues setting up through the app where it wasn't picking up my wi-fi, but I ended up applying my connection directly instead of relying on the discover wi fi option which wasn't giving anything. Apart from that frustration it's been working pretty great especially after I linked my Alexa echo dots to it!

This was easy to install and get setup with Echo. We got it as part of a promotion and for the price was an excellent deal. We wanted some more but at $35 each are a bit pricey. If they go on sale again we will buy more.

The Smart Plugs are a great convenience especially when you use them for light that are difficult to get to. Of course you can use them to control many different items but I mostly use them for lights. The only difficulty is that when you control them thorough your phone and you ask Google to turn on the lights you will have to unlock your phone before it will actually turn the light on or off.

Easy to setup. Now I can schedule a table lamp to turn on and off at night. Also works with Alexa.

Never had one of these, but this seems to work pretty well.

This controls the power for anything plugged and in and can be used remotely or on a set schedule.

I bought three of these when they were on sale since it was my first smart home adventure. These TP Link WiFi plugs work great, they do what the manufacturer said they would do. Linked up right away without needing additional equipment. In order to use all app options you do need more gear but that is a hook that all manufacturers seem to use. You can use scene function in the app to set quick on off for a certain set of devices so that is a nice feature but the scheduling is off limits without the additional hub. I have not experienced any issues with them so far and that is all I was looking for. On or off. I might look at a hub if I add more devices that warrant a need for the scheduling but these do everything I want right now.

It works very well. It also is very simple to use, set up, and I love the how well and easy the app is to work!

Have multiple. Connects Alexa with ease. The ability to shut off lights, appliances, and etc.. is really great.

For us, this works great as a part of our security when we’re away or for providing light at set times when we’re home. It’s easy to use and adjust timing to meet our needs. I have it on a light. I adjust it as the seasons change. I also have it set to turn off the light 10-15 minutes after we go upstairs so we’re not fumbling around in the dark and not having to flip light switches on and off. You can also turn the item plugged into it off or on from the phone app. Once in awhile there is a glitch where it doesn’t perform as expected but this is rare and easy to reset. This is why I didn’t give it 5 stars.

Works well 90% of the time. Easy to operate from my phone through the app. Very easy to set up. However, it needs to be reconnected to my wifi network far more than any of my other smart devices. At least once monthly, it stops working and has to be reconnected. For the most part, reconnection is easy. On occasion, it doesn’t want to reconnect. I recommend if having to reconnect doesn’t bother you but if you’re looking for hassle free consistency than this is not it.

I highly recommend this smart plug. I originally purchased the smart plug by C by GE, 2 of them actually (the second one being the replacement to give GE a second chance), and never got either to work after weeks of frustration. However, once the Kasa Smart Wi-Fi plug came in, I had no trouble getting it setup and it was working within a couple minutes after taking it out of the box. If you need a smart plug, go with this one!
