Just What I Was Looking For

I needed something to use as a monitor to keep an eye on my elderly Mom, and this was perfect. I could adjust the view to include her recliner and bed. And the night vision was great -- allowing me to see everything I needed to even in the dark of night. Only quibbles: It's at times a little laggy getting the app to open when I used it on my chromebook. Unlike a baby monitor, it's not a continuous feed. However, I could keep it on with the chromebook plugged in (although it would pause after a while and I'd have to tap a "continue" button). Lastly, the volume isn't good at all. But, compared to a google nest max I tried, this was exactly what I needed -- and at only 20% the cost of the nest max.

Both work as needed.only wish that tilt worked at a higher angle, hanging from ceiling can’t see all the way to the ground beneath it, but still adequate for my needs. App works well, relatively easy setup, though sometimes it can act a little glitchy.

Great Affordable Camera

Great for watching pet and for being able to communicate through the microphone.

Versatile but a bit slow

Alternatively, you can install a micro SD memory to record 24/7, however in order to save a video you need to have the SD removed.

Slow Moving But Works
