This is such an incredible buy at this price point. Easy to install: Download app. Plug in cam. Pair your phone with the cams install WiFi signal. Set up your cam (less than 5 min) and your done! You should really buy an micro SD card (128GB) for recording your footage. Alerts are pretty quick. You can immediately click on the alert on your phone and it takes you to “live view”. Video quality is pretty good. Pan and tilt on the cam are silent! Down side is that the zoom isn’t a true zoom but simply enlarging the image where you are trying to look at. So the image quality is quickly reduced but still passable. You can turn off the green light on the cam from the app so it doesn’t draw attention but keep in mind in the dark you can see the IR sensors at work. Also when switching from darkness to light and vise versus (night vision) the cam emits a loud clicking noise which may draw attention to it. The app is easy to use and you can actually schedule when you want the cam to record. Date and time! Nice feature. 24/7 recoding (128GB SD card recommended). With that enabled you don’t need to pay for the subscription service to be able to view “events” that your cam alerts you to. If you get an alert and can’t click on it on time to watch what happened exactly when the alert was triggered not a problem because you were recording the whole time. At 128GB it will be able to record 24/7 for a while but I’m not sure if it will record over itself when full (doubt it). So most likely will need to reformat the card. This cam is an amazing buy for what it does at this price point. Can’t stress it enough that this is a great buy if you want great security on the cheap without cheap quality. The cam itself is plastic and light. May not last a fall if you don’t secure it right from a ceiling (yes you have that option. Comes with the kit). Overall this is a five star cam for sure.

It’s a camera that I got on sale for $30 it has worked well and even though it’s not rated for outside use I always had it outside. The fact that it can move from left to right or up and down makes it great for outside use. The picture quality and resolution can be changed from 720 to 1080p if you’re home has fast internet which most will. It does have night mode as well so you can see things in the dark. However if you have it outside be prepared to have bugs all over it. It’s great for indoors as I originally bought it as a baby camera. Which worked well. The hardware to hang this camera is simple only takes a screw or 2 and it’s light enough that you don’t have to worry about it falling. It’s easy to take out and change the micro SD card. Also it uses MicroSD which you have to buy separately if you want it to record. And also the software you use in your phone is pretty good for being a standalone device. You can actually pair up to 4 similar devices and network them together to view in your phone app. It’s a decent system and I would highly recommend it. I don’t know the price it currently is but even at $40-50 would be a decent purchase because it’s easy to use and install.

Simply a well made and well functioning device. The spot pan camera will either follow the action with in a determined range or remain stationary - the features are endless and ultimately it provides a very clear 1080p image which is better than most cameras on the market in this price range and reputation. Its control from the app is almost seamless.

its nice surveillance camera also you can listen hear what's going on in the room ,record and use it on your smart phone from any where picture quality is ok best feature is the it rotates and goes up and down to adjust what you see over all excellent for the price

People seem to have extreme expectations, for me I find this a great device and picture. With an SD card in you do not need to pay a subscription, the picture quality is more than acceptable, night vision great, speaker and microphone to talk, pan and tilt, I love it. Have 3 of these, I watch my dogs and keep them from barking so the tenants don't go crazy.

I bought this for my wife so that she could watch our cats while we are away from the house. She loves it! The picture quality if very sharp in the daylight and even at night! We enjoy that we can move the camera around to look for the kitties in our game room. The two way speaker seems to work well and the app is very nice. I'm very impressed!

This camera is easy to setup and use the app works great .not sure why the listing for this camera says black and white . The video is in HD color. .nice how you can pan the camera 360° and 110°vertical. You can reveiw recordings on your smart phone . Live viewing can be zoomed in on also .

Overall, I am very pleased with Kasa Cameras.I have 2 of these cameras in 2 areas that are large enough they require a camera that can pan, My other 14 cameras are the regular Kasa spot cameras that are able to over an entire area. These cameras overall are very good quality both in daylight and with night vision. I use some of them to check on water leaks and others to check on cars in the driveway. Since these are indoor cameras the only shortfall is at night the ones that look out on the driveway have an issue looking out through the window on to the driveways at night because of the reflection from the camera LED's. Setting the sensitivity of the cameras is what I am working on now so the notifications received are not as frequent.

Works well.. easy to set up once you have the app installed. Tilt and pan works great and smoothly. Sound is a bit annoying, emits a loud chime whenever you use the voice communication..overall works good

Best little indoor security camera. Very handy in monitoring your home when away, using the app. Pan and tilt feature works great as does two-way mic. Good purchase for the money. Awesome picture quality.

Great product. I have this installed on top of a Sonos play one in my living room to get a birds eye view when I’m away for my dog. A great picture. You can turn it with a smart phone and install a memory card for 24/7 recording.

Used as a doggie cam to monitor if my pet was comfortable after surgery. Very low light capability so I did not need to use the night mode. Easy to set up from downloading Kasa app. Pan and tilt is easy to use.

Great Quality no stalls! Love how we can pan the cameras around to see what our pup is doing when we aren’t home. Funny thing, she sleeps or stares out the door waiting on our return LOL! But great cameras!!

Honestly, this was one of the best investments. I love that I can pan and tilt my camera from a remote location. I absolutely am impressed with the quality of the video both in the day and night time.
