I spent hours trying to setup the camera, disabling firewalls, anti virus, finally it was my DNS that needed to be changed in my router that was the issue. I still can,t get a Laview wifi camera I bought to connect. Night vision works well, black and white. easy to use app, after camera connects.

This product works good up to a year with small issues. but I started to see major issues after a year. Most problem fixed by turning camera off then back on.

It would be easy for a quick steal in that amount of time. No SD card comes with it..

Ok for a cheap camera

The wifi antenna is not great and it is not always reliable; but I have tried a dozen different cameras and this is probably the best of all the cheap ones. If you want a camera that just works, but something that costs at least about $75 per camera from a well known American company.

Alternatively, you can install a micro SD memory to record 24/7, however in order to save a video you need to have the SD removed.

I wanted an indoor camera to monitor the garage. Works OK. Takes a bit to get it set up with recording and playback takes some getting used to.

It does have local storage to record but can’t upload to my personal cloud storage.

I purchased on a deal of the day, but have yet to use. BB wants reviews and harasses people to review items that were purchased so here is mine.

Have two way talk. They are inside camera. Love the tilt and pan but they are very very slow but do their job

Our smart plugs, bulbs, and switches and cameras are designed for quick and easy setup using the Kasa app. If you're having difficulty connecting them to your network during setup, please ensure your router's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong at the device's location.
Please also ensure your smartphone is not connected to a VPN during setup, as this may interfere with the installation process.

Thank you for your review. We always recommend ensuring your router's Wi-Fi signal is adequately strong in the device's location. Within the Kasa Smart app there's a feature that allows you to measure Wi-Fi signal strength of your devices. When the app is connected, please check the signal strength in the Device Settings menu.
If the signal is within the ideal range and you're still experiencing these symptoms, please ensure your Kasa Smart app is up to date, then update your device's firmware by selecting Home → Settings → Firmware Update within the Kasa app.
