We always recommend ensuring your router's WiFi signal is adequately strong in the smart device's location. Within the Kasa Smart app there's a feature that allows you to measure WiFi signal strength of your smart devices. When the app is connected, please check the signal strength in the Device Settings menu.

Works great until it DOESNT!

About a week after setting it up I noticed that the viewpoints started shifting on their own and the camera would get stuck in one spot and then it would say that it can not move anymore that the range is as far as it could go but it couldn't go the other way either. I called kasa and they had e reset it and a week went by and it happened again. It would constantly get stuck staring at the wall and it wouldn't detect any movement and wouldn't move at all. so I reset it again and a week later the same thing happened. The whole point of having a camera is so that it can record the activity and not get stuck staring at the wall. I am not happy with these 2 cameras. I am going to try and reset them again and maybe they will work right but I doubt it.
